Trump Cancels Israel Trip After PM’s Criticism
Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump is sending a warning to GOP leaders about his dominance in the polls: “You’ve got to get used to it”.

“The Establishment’s only hope: Trump & me in a cage match”, he said in a message on Twitter.
Cruz nodded toward his strategy to his supporters on Wednesday, telling them his approach has been to “bear hug” both Trump and fellow Republican candidate Ben Carson, and “smother them with love”.
As the Republican Party has grappled with how to handle an anti-establishment candidate like Trump, Cruz has separated himself from others by publicly positioning himself closely to the frontrunner.
In a column for The Daily Mail, Hopkins claimed that Barrack Obama’s response to the recent mass shooting in California that left 14 people dead had failed to provide leadership for the country, which Trump was now providing.
Still, in a sign of how Trump’s rhetoric has polarized the electorate, 72 percent of Democrats and 47 percent of voters overall said they were offended by Trump’s comments.
But the newest exchange comes after a New York Times report that Cruz suggested to donors in a private meeting that he doubted Trump’s “judgment” to be commander in chief.
Cruz’s questioning of Trump’s judgment to be president has not gone without response from Trump.
Mr Netanyahu has regularly expressed support for Republicans, and Republican candidates have made firm USA backing for Israel a central foreign policy plank of their campaigns.
White House spokesman Josh Earnest endorsed Trump’s decision to postpone the trip to Israel and said “most people are relieved” that he would not be visiting such a sensitive region.
Also among the poll’s findings were Americans’ views on Trump’s rhetoric. He had more than double the support of his nearest rivals in the online poll of 481 Republicans.
“There has been a lot of talk of Trump and his comments”, Earnest said.
