Since Hillary Clinton spends much of her time avoiding the media, the traveling press pool assigned to her campaign appears to have plenty of time for creativity.

White House rivals Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are bringing out the brass, in hopes some military polish will burnish their own national security credentials.
Trump’s team has worked aggressively in recent days to turn deflect such criticism back at Clinton. Hillary Clinton’s slow-motion email scandal has re-emerged every few weeks, reinforcing long-standing concerns about her truthfulness.
Clinton makes up ground against Trump, however, on the issue of nuclear weapons. For a time, their planes were parked about 200 yards apart at the Cleveland airport, a sign of Ohio’s importance in the election. She leads in the key swing states.
His position on the sequester has been even more murky. The latest Reuters-Ipsos poll showed Trump with 40 percent support vs 39 percent for Clinton, effectively ending Clinton’s bump up in the polls after the Democratic nominating convention.
The poll also probed other issues.
“Today, I’m here to talk to you about three crucial words that should be at the center, always, of our foreign policy”, Trump said. Meanwhile, 59 percent of the likely voters surveyed said that they would “reluctantly” vote for the candidate of the party they usually support.
Among voters overall, a smaller majority (52 percent) said they would not be confident in her ability to serve.
While Trump has often complained that US forces are not large enough or well-equipped, he’s also said that he’d save money by cutting waste and ensuring that contractors aren’t getting sweetheart deals due to their connections or lobbying efforts.
“This has been an unbelievable reception!” “I make no excuses for it”, she said.
The appearances mark an intense, two-day focus on national security by Trump, who has offered tough rhetoric on the nation’s challenges overseas but few details.
The paper has previously said “Trump is no Republican”.
Kaine is taking a two-day break from public campaign events to raise money in Washington and NY. Poll respondents were presented with several possibilities for how they may vote in November. Clinton’s campaign has made those investments as any traditional campaign would.
We have no interest in a Republican nominee for whom all principles are negotiable, nor in a Republican Party that is willing to trade away principle for pursuit of electoral victory.
“This is not about Democrat or Republican”, said retired Air Force General Lloyd “Fig” Newton in a statement.
But an immigration speech that Trump gave following his trip to Mexico drew criticism from some of his Hispanic supporters, and several backers advising him on the issue chose to part ways with his campaign. That’s what all our numbers show.

“The trend lines are the important thing to point to”, Miller told Reuters. Clinton’s campaign announced that she now has 95 retired generals and admirals backing her candidacy. Judicial Watch has filed numerous lawsuits seeking government documents related to the Democratic presidential nominee’s tenure as the nation’s top diplomat.
