VIENNA, Ohio (CNN) – Donald Trump on Monday refused to rule out granting legal status to undocumented immigrants who remain in the United States, breaking with an immigration proposal he laid out just last week.

Beyond those states, preference polls show her ahead in Virginia and Colorado, and competing in close contests in North Carolina, Florida and Ohio. We have to bring jobs back to this country or we are not going to have a country.

Clinton has been off the campaign trail for several days of rest, and the Labor Day rally with Tim Kaine was meant to mark her triumphant push across the finish line. Trump and Pence attended a round-table discussion with union members, where Trump warned that America’s manufacturing jobs are “going to hell”.

But the point has not resonated for Trump in part because of the Republican nominee’s history of racially divisive actions and comments, and the caustic tone of his presidential campaign.

Republican vice presidential nominee Mike Pence says undocumented immigrants would be treated “humanely” – but gave no details on how the GOP nominee would deal with the millions now living and working peacefully in the country.

Kellyanne Conway said Monday that “voters who traditionally have not voted Republican or haven’t even voted in a very long time seem to be coming out to support” Trump and his message.

The Labor Day holiday traditionally kicks off the fast-paced fall campaign season, and Clinton and Trump both beat a path to OH to woo voters in the must-win state.

Hillary Clinton is traveling aboard a new Boeing 737 campaign plane for the first time this Labor Day.

But more revelations about her private email server or the Clinton Foundation could reinforce the perception that she’s not trustworthy.

She told reporters, “We are going to have to take those threats and attacks seriously”.

The Democratic nominee has been pressured by media critics and Republicans alike to hold a news conference for the first time in 2016.

“We will build a great wall along the southern border”, said Trump. Rob Portman of OH is running a campaign that mirrors Clinton’s more than Trump’s — disciplined, well-funded, and heavily centered on data — and appears on track to hold his seat, even if Clinton carries the state in the presidential race.

Mrs Clinton has questioned Mr Trump’s temperament and preparation to serve as commander in chief while seeking to connect the reality television star to the extreme “alt-right” movement within the Republican Party.

Those same polls continue to show that more than half of registered voters have an unfavorable view of both Clinton and Trump.

There is new reaction to Donald Trump’s immigration policy and whether he’s shifting his plan to deport more illegal immigrants than he previously stated.

Rep. Ben Ray Lujan, the chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, is holding up the Trump’s candidacy as the reason more people are keeping their eyes on the battle for the House.
