Both Clinton and Trump have been locked in an intense back-and-forth throughout the summer.

Clinton moved on several fronts Monday to confront nagging doubts about her candidacy, despite her comfortable lead in many swing-state polls.

“I’m not taking anybody, anywhere for granted”, Clinton told a crowd of more than 1,000 at a picnic in Cleveland. Trump says it does not matter that many union officials, such as the leadership of the AFL-CIO, have endorsed Hillary Clinton.

Her campaign later confirmed her decision.

The cough seems to be winning this one.

In an interview with ABC Monday, Clinton said that she would not visit Mexico prior to election day, saying she would rather focus on the US.

Donald Trump is spending Labor Day in the swing state of OH, making a push to separate himself from Democratic rival Hillary Clinton leading up to the November 8 presidential election.

Clinton’s plane – which has previously flown for Air Berlin, OrenAir & Corendon Dutch Airlines – was contracted by the campaign in the last month and is wrapped in Clinton’s blue “H” logo and “Stronger Together”, her general election campaign slogan.

She answered questions for more than 22 minutes on several topics, including tensions with Russian Federation over accusations of cyber-espionage.

And she implied Moscow was trying to help get Trump elected. “We are going to enforce the laws of this country, end catch and release, do all these things that politicians have been talking about for more than a generation”, Pence said.

Greeting reporters traveling aboard her plane before takeoff, Clinton said: “Welcome to our big plane!”

Under Clinton, “people can pour across the border and it doesn’t matter who the people are”.

With under 70 days until Election Day, both Trump and #Hillary Clinton are pushing hard to solidify their base, while appealing to voters on the political fence.

“We don’t know who will be left, we don’t know where they live, who they are”, said campaign manager Kellyanne Conway. At a round-table meeting with union members at an American Legion hall outside Cleveland on Monday, Mr. Trump repeated his opposition to the Pacific trade deal, bemoaned the loss of manufacturing jobs in America, and said that if he’s elected annual growth to the national gross domestic product will hit the (high) mark of 4 percent.

Mr Trump also appeared with Democratic Mayor Tom Coyne, of Brook Park, Ohio, who said he supported Mr Trump in this spring’s Republican primary and would vote for him this autumn.

A protest group disrupted Clinton about one minute in and police escorted them out. Polls show Trump trailing Clinton in a series of must-win battleground states, meaning the debates could be his best chance at reorienting the race.

Donald Trump says he plans to take part in all three presidential debates against rival Hillary Clinton.

Trump made roughly 20 stops in August and said recently that the former secretary of state doesn’t look presidential or have the drive or stamina to do the job – a remark Kaine called “idiotic”.
