Trump, Clinton Grapple With Fallout From Forum
Trump, who has never held elected office, has criticized Clinton’s judgment, attacking her vote in favor of the 2003 Iraq war and her support for the U.S. intervention in Libya in 2011. But he was also harshly critical of the military, saying America’s generals have been “reduced to rubble” under Obama.

Asked why she didn’t have a more commanding lead over Trump, she said the race was always going to be close but her campaign was “in a strong position”. “What I did learn is that our leadership, Barack Obama, did not follow what our experts said to do”, Trump said.
Questioned about the statement by NBC News during a press conference Thursday morning, Clinton again referenced Olsen’s work and cited his belief that a Trump presidency “would give even more motivation to every jihadi”.
Hillary Clinton says it was inappropriate for Republican Donald Trump to discuss his intelligence briefing. I have already said, he is really very much of a leader. “I find it frustrating, but it is just part of the landscape that we live in and we just keep forging ahead”. He said while he believed Clinton would listen to advisers, he was doubtful Trump would hear out their advice. One of the questions was about the RNC’s take on Clinton’s performance at a forum Wednesday night. Before flying off to a campaign event, the former secretary of state offered her usual policy proposals for foreign affairs and the fight against terror, and then she also made an impassioned plea to voters to reject Donald Trump, a flamboyant billionaire who beat out 16 rivals, generally regarded as more politically seasoned, to win the Republican nomination. But she defended her support for US military intervention to help oust a dictator in Libya, despite the chaotic aftermath.
Still, Clinton indicated later in the day that she does not want the final weeks to be exclusively focused on Trump, unveiling plans for a series of policy speeches aimed at promoting a positive message.
The Democratic Party and the Clinton Campaign criticised Trump’s remarks and claimed by saying so, Trump has “failed” the commander-in -chief test. And she pledged to hold weekly Oval Office meetings with representatives from the Pentagon and Department of Veterans Affairs to stay abreast of health care for veterans.
The Times did note that Lauer pushed Trump on a controversial 2013 Twitter message the real estate mogul wrote where he argued sexual assaults in the armed services were an unsurprising byproduct of men and women being allowed to serve alongside one another in the military. And for the first time, he opened the door to granting legal status to people living in the United States illegally who join the military.
“Clearly Hillary Clinton is trying to make that her pivot, that you can’t trust Donald Trump in any sense of sitting in that situation room”. “And I could see myself working that out”. He didn’t do it on the Iraq War.

In 2002, Radio host Howard Stern asked Trump if he supported the looming invasion. “Maybe he did it with a smile and I guess the RNC would have liked that”. America already has a small presence of Special Forces in Iraq, and Clinton advisors later explained that her position is that there can not be any massive military deployment.
