Trump, Clinton lead in key states ahead of next week primaries

Given a hypothetical matchup between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump in the fall, 42 percent of Cruz supporters say they’d vote for a third-party candidate or not at all.

State Sen. Tony Hwang, R-Fairfield, chairman of Kasich’s campaign in CT, predicted the state could ultimately prove very helpful to his candidate, who has the backing of numerous state’s top Republicans past and present.

He’s been “projecting an image”, Paul Manafort told the GOP officials. “The part that he’s been playing is evolving into the part that now you’ve been expecting, but he wasn’t ready for, because he had first to complete the first phase”.

Confident that she would finally bag the Democratic presidential nomination, Hillary Clinton appeared to have gone into a full campaign mode by training her gun on potential Republican opponent Donald Trump. “It’s over, it’s over”, said Donald Trump, (R) Presidential Candidate.

The vice president, who has wanted to reach the highest office for decades, said he regrets “every day” that he didn’t enter the 2016 presidential race – but that his decision was in his family’s best interests. The Kasich campaign enlisted Joel Adams, a Louisville Republican operative to try and crack the system. The goal now of the Cruz campaign is to persuade Rubio to be his running mate and secures the support of most of his delegates.

Donna Hoffman, the head of the political science department at the University of Iowa, said Trump’s fiery personality had put him in a bind at this stage of the race.

“Trump is focused heavily on clinching the Republican nomination through voters” balloting in state primaries, thus avoiding a contested national convention in Cleveland in July. “So I had to get to work, and I had to make the case”.

“He has an opportunity to reinvent himself as a more presidential front-runner for the party”.

“I’m not toning it down”, he said. The male vote is said to be Trump’s advantage.

One of Trump’s advisers posted the Tennessee state party chairman Ryan Haynes’ cell phone number online along with a message accusing the state party of trying to “STEAL your vote TODAY”.

If there’s an abrupt change, some supporters might feel the same way.

“It is essential to victory in November that we all support our candidate”, Priebus said. “It wouldn’t feel real”. Do we really want to?

And Democrat Clinton is also ahead of Bernie Sanders in the same four states.

Donald Trump is planning a trip to Washington.

Asked why that point hadn’t been made earlier, Ryder said Friday, “We had a lot of conversations with Mr. Yue”.

“He said, ‘I’ll call back in two minutes, and if you’re still there, I’ll come over and help you, ‘” House recalled.

“Is the Trump campaign going to challenge the credentials of the Colorado delegation?”
