Trump, Clinton score big victories, Rubio drops out
“And if the elites try and steal the nomination from Trump, the riots at the ’68 Democratic Convention will look like a garden party”.

Ohio Governor John Kasich lengthened Donald Trump’s road to securing the Republican US presidential nomination after Tuesday’s primaries in five states, while Democratic frontrunner Hillary Rodham Clinton’s got shorter.
Trump won Republican primary victories in Florida, North Carolina and IL and was in a virtual tie with closest rival Ted Cruz in Missouri getting at least 159 more delegates and taking his total to 619 from 18 wins.
Republican presidential candidate Ohio Gov. John Kasich reacts as he greets supporters after speaking at his presidential primary election night rally in Berea, Ohio.
Under GOP rules, delegates are required to vote for the candidate who won them on the first ballot at the convention.
“With his victories yesterday, I believe it is now time for Republicans to accept and respect the will of the voters and coalesce behind Donald Trump”, Scott said on Facebook Wednesday morning.
“From a political standpoint, the easiest thing to have done on this campaign is jump on all those anxieties, make people angrier, more frustrated”, he said.
Kasich’s spokesman then said he won’t debate without Trump onstage.
“They can’t come into OH with the philosophy they have and win”.
Describing “Rubio’s demise” as “the last gasp of the Republican reboot”, the Washington Post said “Years of carefully laid plans to repackage the Republican Party’s traditional ideas for a fast-changing country came crashing down” with him quitting the race.
The only reason Rubio stayed in this long was to keep Trump from winning Florida, and he failed miserably at that.
“I just want to say we’re going to go forward and we’re going to win”.
Trump reminded Cuomo that he represented “many millions of people”.
With a win over Trump in Ohio, Kasich’s supporters said they can see the governor giving the real estate mogul a run for his money. But she also has followed Kasich, and while it’s unlikely, she could see herself voting for him in November.
Rubio spent the final weeks of his campaign in an often bitter fight with Trump.
Until now, Scott had remained neutral in the GOP race which featured two Florida candidates – Sen.
He could reach the goal by winning most of the remaining states that award all of their delegates to the victor – and doing well in the other states.
“Only two campaigns have a plausible path to the nomination, ours and Donald Trump”, he said.
