Trump, Clinton solidly on course for nominations
The billionaire Republican frontrunner said that if he was leading the race by hundreds of delegates – but 100 short of a clear majority – and was denied the nomination, “you’d have riots”.

Trump won 152 delegates Tuesday – twice that of John Kasich, his nearest rival in Tuesday’s votes. “I really do. I wouldn’t lead it, but I think bad things would happen”, Trump continued.
The GOP front-runner also said he’d skip a GOP debate scheduled for Utah on Monday, saying, “I think we’ve had enough debates”.
Democrat Hillary Clinton, who moved closer to becoming the first woman in USA history to win a major party nomination after winning at least four states Tuesday, took direct aim at Trump.
Senator Marco Rubio, who has been the favourite of the Republican establishment, lost his home state of Florida to Mr. Trump and suspended his campaign.
Trump, speaking at his Mar-a-Lago beachfront resort on Florida’s Atlantic Ocean coast, called on Republicans to unite behind him. Rubio came in first place for Washington D.C. followed by Kasich and Trump. I’m still not convinced Trump will win. Sanders wasn’t able to pull out any victories, and will have to hope to edge Clinton in Missouri, which is still too close to call. leaving his campaign with some very hard delegate math if he wants to remain in the game.
While the delegate math remains murky, the narrowing of the GOP field is providing clarity with respect to choices, Dr. Cornfield said.
Analysts say that if Mr Trump does not win the 1,237 delegates he needs for a nomination, he would have to convince a Republican convention he is the man for the job.
Hillary Clinton swept all five contests in Florida, Illinois, North Carolina, Missouri, and OH, racking up more delegates to solidify her lead for the Democratic nomination. Mr. Trump has won 621 delegates so far, against the requirement of 1231.
More than 180 thousand people in Tennessee voted for Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) on Super Tuesday and that means he was awarded nine delegates.
“There is great anger”, Trump said.
Sanders is unlikely to overtake Clinton in the delegate count, but his victory last week in MI underscored the unease that many Democratic voters have about her candidacy.

In Florida, pro-LGBT Mrs Clinton gave an upbeat victory speech in which she chastised Mr Trump – who now refuses to discuss same-sex marriage, after consistently changing his stance on the issue. It takes 2,383 to win the Democratic nomination.
