Clinton’s campaign announced that it had raised $143 million in August for her presidential bid and the Democratic Party.

A Clinton victory in Florida would make it virtually impossible for Trump to overcome her advantage in the race for 270 electoral votes. Trump has the support of 87 percent of South Carolina Republicans and Clinton has 94 percent of state Democrats’ support.

Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton took a jab at Trump amid a coughing fit on Monday. Clinton was expected to land in Cleveland as Trump was taking off, prompting Kaine to note the importance of OH to both campaigns in an interview with the Chicago Tribune.
