Trump Comments on Clinton Health After Days of Silence

To prove it, Clinton plans to return to the campaign trail Thursday with a rally in North Carolina and a speech in Washington, DC. The campaign was forced to make her diagnosis public Sunday after the candidate collapsed at a 9/11 memorial ceremony and video emerged of her apparently struggling to get into her truck.

US Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has released further information relating to her medical records. Her campaign said later in the day that the former secretary of state had been diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday.

Clinton received a 10-day course of antibiotics, and since Sunday has rested at her home in Chappaqua, New York, where she “continues to improve”, Bardack’s letter said. On Sept. 2, Bardack saw Clinton and advised her to rest and prescribed antibiotics.

The letter also describes medications that Clinton is taking, including a blood thinner and a medication for hypothyroidism. The additional information is an updated review that also gives details on Clinton’s pneumonia diagnosis. Clinton’s doctor, Lisa Bardack, wrote on Wednesday that she was recovering from her pneumonia.

Mrs. Clinton’s blood pressure of 100 over 70 and total cholesterol (189) are all within normal levels, as indicated in the letter.

In her letter, Bardack wrote that Clinton was diagnosed with mild, non-contagious pneumonia and that she was in “excellent mental condition”.

The Dr Oz Show on Wednesday released a short clip of its Thursday segment with Trump.

The presidential candidates for the two major parties released some personal health information this week, with doctors for both stating they are healthy and fit to serve.

In addition to the antibiotics for her pneumonia, Clinton takes three regular medications – Armour Thyroid, used to treat hypothyroidism and other thyroid disorders; Coumadin, which can prevent and treat blood clots; and Clarinex, an allergy medication – and vitamin B-12 as needed. Nearly seven in 10 Republicans – 68 percent – said Clinton’s health was below average, compared to 16 percent of Democrats.

She has also had a normal mammogram and breast ultrasound, according to the letter.

“The full details of what Trump revealed to Oz were unclear Thursday morning, but in an interview on Fox and Friends, Trump claimed that at 6’3″ he weighs only 236 pounds. “Those were all the tests that were just done last week”, Trump said in an excerpt released by the show. Bornstein admitted last month he had written the letter in five minutes while a limo sent by Trump waited outside.
