Christie told Michigan’s Republican delegation in Ohio Monday that his wife, Mary Pat Christie, asked the billionaire businessman for a donation.

State GOP executive director Pete Sheridan noted Trump’s help, but said that “Christie continued his long tradition of raising record amounts for the NJGOP”.

The Drumthwacket Foundation, which cares for New Jersey’s historic governor’s mansion, has received at least $40,000 since 2010 from the Donald J. Trump Foundation, according to The Post. “I’ll consider it and if I don’t, I’ll finish my term and get in the private sector like you Marvin”. “It’s not like my lifetime dream was to be Vice President of the United States”. “So I’m disappointed, no doubt I was disappointed, but I’m over it”.

He declined to say if he was eyeing the Attorney General post.

Chris Christie offered up a worrying glimpse on Tuesday of what a Trump presidency might look like.

“It’s called burrowing”, he said. “Donald and I never talked about it before that, because it’s awkward”. And he concluded, “I think this is much ado about nothing”. He was focused on winning the nomination.

Christie, who is governor of New Jersey and leads Trump’s White House transition team, said the campaign was drawing up a list of federal government employees to fire if Trump defeats Democratic rival Hillary Clinton in the November 8 presidential election.

“It’s a binary choice, buddy”.

Christie also defended Melania Trump from accusations of plagiarizing a big part of her speech to the Republican National Convention the night before, according to NBC’s “Today” show. However, in this case, there was no indication Trump ever promised to make such a donation in the aftermath of Sandy. “Now, where I come from, a promise is a promise”. You know, the fact is that I feel really comfortable and confident with my role and always did even before the vice presidential consideration.
