Trump criticizes USA policy on Russian television
As Trump was again dismissing the tax-return matter, The Washington Post that afternoon published an extensive report by Dana Priest, Ellen Nakashima and Tom Hamburger laying out what US intelligence officials believe is “a broad covert Russian operation in the United States to sow public distrust in the upcoming presidential election and in USA political institutions”.

“In a wide-ranging interview that aired Thursday evening, Trump spoke with journalist Larry King about the presidential race, American intervention in Iraq and the Middle East, and the potential intrusion by Russian hackers into Democratic Party databases”.
Clinton has worked since she joined the race past year to break through the decades of Clinton political baggage and voter skepticism of her motivations to tell the story of why she entered public service and how her values were shaped. “I was totally against the war in Iraq”, Trump claimed, and also said he had opposed intervention in Libya. “And I think the economy is a much bigger problem as far as the president is concerned”.
Trump added that if Russian Federation is doing something, he said he hopes “somebody’s going to be able to find out so they can end it because it wouldn’t be appropriate at all”. “Because that would not be appropriate at all”. “They are saying, oh, please, Allah, make Trump president of America”, Clinton said to Israeli TV.
But speaking to CNN on Thursday, Governor Pence called it “inarguable” that Mr Putin is a stronger leader than the U.S. president. Trump is among those 8% having said that Putin is a better leader than Obama.
Pence also defended Trump’s comments that “the generals have been reduced to rubble” under the Obama administration, responding to critics that interpreted those words to mean Trump was putting down the United States military. And the appearance on Russian television suggested no hesitation from Trump to dive into the controversy.
If Vladimir Putin’s government – believed to be behind cyberattacks on the Democratic National Committee and state election operations – has an “ambitious” plan to influence the election, it stands to reason that Putin would like to influence the candidates. Asked by King if he agreed with Putin’s assessment, Trump declined to pass judgment. Who knows? But I think that it’s pretty unlikely.
First, there was The Daily Show host Trevor Noah, with a reference to the USS Intrepid, the warship where the forum took place: “Here’s a bit of trivia for you: Did you know during World War II, on multiple occasions, kamikaze planes crashed into the Intrepid?” He said Putin “has done so in many ways, in a very ruthless manner”. “I have absolutely no opinion on that”. Trump and his advisers have taken a strikingly pro-Putin line, and Trump and his advisers also have had extensive financial ties to Russian Federation.
Many have criticized Clinton for losing momentum in August following the conventions, and the Clinton campaign for “seemingly trying to run out the clock rather than attack Trump”, Mahaffee said. “But I have no faith in Hillary Clinton or the leadership”. Her tenure has brought us only war, destruction and death.
At an NBC forum on Wednesday night, Clinton pointed to a September 2002 interview Trump gave to radio host Howard Stern to say that Trump had supported the war.
She also clarified Trump’s comments on Putin the day before, in which Trump called Putin a stronger leader than Obama in his country.
“Look at the Esquire magazine interview”, Conway said. “I mean, nobody wants to play the full clip”.

Trump contributed Dollars 60 million to his campaign in August, which then turned out to be his best fund-raising month with USD 90 million as the total amount raised.
