Trump crushes Cruz in New Hampshire poll
Following Rubio’s finish in Iowa, several Republican rivals have stepped up their rhetorical attacks on the senator. Trump finished second in the state.

Rania Batrice, a Sanders spokeswoman in Iowa, said the campaign has concerns about such last-minute chairs who weren’t trained properly, or precincts where there were chairs who did not show up and untrained people filled in. That being said, Marco Rubio has yet to convince me of his worth or his chances of winning over Clinton or Sanders.
“Unfortunately, they did not then forward the subsequent story, that was Ben’s campaign clarifying that he was continuing the campaign and was not canceling the campaign”, Cruz said.
As Rubio experiences an upswing, Jeb Bush is falling out of favor with key donors.
The New Jersey governor brushed off the significance of Florida Sen. That’s had a chilling effect on big donors, said Frank VanderSloot, an Idaho billionaire who backs Rubio.
Members of Carson’s campaign told MSNBC that they had “confirmed reports” of Cruz supporters telling caucus-goers that Carson was out of the race. That poll found Trump, at 34%, maintaining a large national lead over both Cruz (18 percent) and Rubio (13 percent). But he’s part of what VanderSloot called “a lot of money still on the sidelines”. “And if anybody thinks that thousands of voters were changed in that direction one way or the other and that all those votes went to Ted Cruz by some miracle, I just think there is someone that’s never been following elections before”. In an interview with Radio Iowa on Thursday, Branstad said that the Carson note was “unethical and unfair”. He had already banked more than $20 million in donations in January, showing the depth of his grassroots support and a financial base. I came in second. “There’s obviously a disconnect between his campaign and what the people want”. While Santorum is among the nation’s most prominent advocates for conservative Christian family values, he struggled for attention in the crowded GOP field.
Trump’s position is that would-be Carson voters threw their support to Cruz when their candidate “dropped out”, giving Cruz his victory over Trump. None of the remaining Republican candidates received more than 5% of the vote.
US Senator Ted Cruz, who won the Iowa caucuses on strong evangelical Christian credentials, was expected to have less appeal for voters in New Hampshire. “The conservative is supposed to be broke, and instead we’ve got the resources to compete nationally combined with a grassroots army from the ground”. “That’s one thing that I’m familiar with that I just saw recently, but – and again, he was on the campaign trail and accomplished that”.
