Trump Defends Putin over Assassinating Journalists
“When people call you brilliant, it’s always good”, Trump said Friday.

Joe Scarborough, bless him, tried to bring a sobering reality to the situation by pointing out that Putin has invaded countries and ordered the executions of journalists political opponents he disagreed with (not to mention numerous humans rights violations). “Obviously, that would be a concern, would it not?” countered co-host Joe Scarborough.
Romney’s aide Stuart Stevens said: “Donald Trump is like that stray dog anybody can pet and it will follow you home”.
At the White House, Press Secretary Josh Earnest said he hadn’t spent “a lot of time contemplating the consequences of a Trump presidency”, but he insisted that the US and Russian Federation have been able to work together on disposing of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s declared chemical weapons stockpile and reaching an agreement aimed at preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.
Trump: Well, I think our country does plenty of killing also, Joe, you know.
During one presidential debate, he said: “If Putin wants to go and knock the hell out of ISIS [the Islamic State group], I am all for it, 100%, and I can’t understand how anybody would be against it”.
Trump takes pride in his straight talk, not mincing words when attacking his opponents, like describing GOP rival Ben Carson as “low-energy” touting instead the need for a “strong” leader like himself. He’s a powerful leader …
He has given the Russian president an A for leadership and said he thinks they’d probably “get along pretty well” if they met.
Quick Poll Who will be next to endorse Trump?
After Russian President Vladimir Putin complimented Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate lavished praise on the heavy-handed leader and USA adversary. Putin finally responded on December 17.
BRZEZINSKI: Do you like Vladimir Putin’s comments about you? There was widespread prosperity, thanks in part to Russia’s role in the oil trade – which is now at risk as oil prices fall. He’s actually got a popularity within his country.
Do you support Donald Trump? Putin wants Crimea? He takes Crimea. Political dissidents andjournalists unfriendly to the Kremlin have been murdered. “So I mean, you obviously condemn Vladimir Putin killing journalists and political opponents, right?”

“I think he’s up in the 80s”. I would assume and hope that most Americans agree. Why anyone in the U.S. would think that’s a good thing is inexplicable, especially someone campaigning to be the leader of the free world.
