Trump Denies Meeting With Secret Service Over Hillary Clinton Threat
Referring to Mr Trump’s comments on Tuesday and other controversial speeches, Ms Clinton said: “Every single one of these incidences shows us that Donald Trump simply does not have the temperament to be president and commander in chief of the United States”. The Second Amendment guarantees the right to bear arms. “I dislike Hillary so much”, she said.

Trump said later Wednesday the media is misrepresenting him, citing his remarks on the Second Amendment as an example.
“He has dug himself a deep hole overall because he’s allowed the race to become a referendum on his fitness to be president”, said Republican strategist and Trump supporter Ford O’Connell.
Donald Trump has been criticised after apparently suggesting Hillary Clinton should be assassinated.
Other top Republicans, including Senator Susan Collins of ME this week, have disavowed Trump but said they can not back Clinton. In addition, 50 prominent national security experts signed an open letter saying they would not vote for Trump, and that he “lacks the character, values and experience” to be president. Trump dismissed the group as part of the Washington establishment that he blames for numerous United States’ problems. He has said he is unlikely to do so before the November 8 presidential election.
Asked in a television interview in May what tax rate he pays, Trump replied “It’s none of your business”.
Trump Texas fundraising co-chair Gaylord Hughey called the interpretation of his remark as condoning violence “ridiculous” and “ludicrous”. “[Kasich] was my first choice, my second choice, my third choice but I’ve come to realize that my next choice is Hillary Clinton”.
Republican candidate Donald Trump roiled the U.S. presidential campaign once again, with the jaw-dropping assertion Wednesday (Aug 10) that Hillary Clinton and President Barack Obama “founded” the ISIS group.
As Trump struggled to turn the page on a hard period in his campaign, Clinton’s campaign continued a push to win over Republicans and independents Wednesday, launching a group called “Together for America”.
“By the way, if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do folks”, he said in Wilmington, N.C.
A recent Quinnipiac University poll of likely voters showed Clinton getting 52 percent of the vote in Pennsylvania to 42 percent for Trump. He then said that there was nothing people could do to stop Clinton from stacking the Supreme Court with anti-gun justices, before stating vaguely that “although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is – I don’t know”.
Strategists and Trump detractors agreed that it would be hard, if not impossible, to remove Trump from the Republican ticket.
“It’s wishful thinking to believe the Republicans are going to replace its nominee after the convention”.

A more likely scenario would be a replay of the 1996 presidential race, when the Republican Party essentially deserted nominee Bob Dole, who was badly trailing President Bill Clinton, to focus on congressional races.
