WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. Hillary Clinton planned to resume campaigning on Thursday after pneumonia forced her to take time off and an aide to the Democratic presidential nominee said facing a Republican rival as controversial as Donald Trump makes it “harder to be heard”.

Clinton, 68, had been resting at her home in Chappaqua, New York, for three days after being diagnosed with pneumonia and falling ill at a September 11 memorial ceremony on Sunday.

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are running neck-and-neck in a four-way matchup including third-party candidates, according to a national poll released Wednesday. Dr. Bardack said Clinton was “fit to be president”.

The details made public by the Democratic presidential nominee included a description of the pneumonia diagnosis she received last week.

Clinton left a 9/11 memorial service in NY on Sunday, stumbling and being supported by others as she entered her auto.

“My overall impression is that Mrs. Clinton has remained healthy and has not developed new medical conditions this year other than a sinus and ear infection and her recently diagnosed pneumonia”, she wrote. Clinton has gone back out on the campaign trail today. Before releasing the new details to the public, Trump turned over a copy to Dr. Mehmet Oz while taping an episode of Oz’s TV show.

Trump’s team took a swipe at Clinton’s absence from the campaign trail in a statement accompanying the new health information. She also was treated for a blood clot in her head in 2012, apparently due to a concussion she suffered in plane crash in Iran.

“From now until November 8, everywhere I go I’m going to talk about my ideas for our country”, Clinton said, using the distraction of pneumonia to pivot to a message focused on children and families.

Clinton has spent the past three days out of the public eye, recuperating at her suburban NY home. Tim Kaine, said “there’s been a double standard applied” for Clinton as a woman when it comes to her health and disclosure of medical records. And conversely, 66 percent of hypothetical Trump voters said they picked him because they don’t like Clinton. So far, the businessman has only released a widely mocked letter from his longtime physician declaring he would be the healthiest president in history.

The medical information released Wednesday shows that Clinton has normal vital signs, along with normal levels of cholesterol and triglycerides, as well as having had a recent mammogram that showed no issues of concern.
