So, uh, looks like the producers of “The Dr. Oz Show” cut out the awkward comments from Oz and Trump about fathers kissing daughters.

A video of Hillary Clinton leaving a September 11 memorial ceremony Sunday stumbling and being held up by her aides sparked calls for both presidential candidates to release health records to the public.

Still, some pointed out the curiosity of sharing such a detail, with The Boston Globe’s Matt Viser tweeting that “John McCain released 1,200 pages of medical records”.

What the report doesn’t say is when those lab results were taken, even though it gives dates for other tests referenced, and it doesn’t say that Dr. Bornstein examined Trump.

The “uninterrupted” jab was a reference to Clinton’s days-long absence from the campaign trail following her physical collapse on Sunday at a 9/11 commemoration event in New York City.

Donald Trump released a letter from his doctor on Thursday that showed the Republican presidential candidate takes cholesterol-lowering medication and is overweight, but concludes that overall he is “in excellent physical health”.

Now, personally, I think this concern-trolling over candidates’ health is ridiculous, but all of this is in stark contrast with the medical documentation that Hillary Clinton has just provided, and which contains great detail about the dates and results of each physical examination. Both candidates’ physicians declared them fit to serve as president.

The Clinton campaign’s handling of her pneumonia underscored her penchant for privacy, something that has contributed to the public’s lack of trust in the former secretary of state.

Republican Trump was talking taxes and the economy on Friday, promising that as president he would boost national economic growth by at least 3.5 per cent – well above current projections – and create 25 million new jobs over a decade.

Sometimes, though, the pressures of politics, ahem, trump individual rights.

“And we want her better”. The letter also did not mention his current mental health. He’s 70 years old. The reality-TV-star-turned-politician sharing his medical information with the celebrity-doctor-turned-daytime-talk-show-host.

Dr Bornstein, a gastroenterological specialist at Lenox Hill Hospital in NY, has cared for Mr Trump since 1980, according to the letter. He avoids tobacco and alcohol products, and he has no history of heart disease, cancer, or liver or thyroid problems.
