Trump doubles down on criticism of slain Muslim soldier
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton bashed Donald Trump Sunday for his controversial remarks about the family of Army Captain Humayun Khan who died in Iraq and said the accumulation of Trump’s controversial remarks throughout the election year made her wonder “where the bottom is”.

“America has lost nearly one third of its manufacturing jobs since 1997, following the enactment of disastrous trade deals supported by Bill and Hillary Clinton”.
Clinton addressed working-class issues in her nomination acceptance, as well.
On Saturday, Mrs Clinton made stops in rural western Pennsylvania, a largely white part of the swing state that traditionally votes Republican.
If one takes this at face value, it suggests that Clinton got more bounce from her convention than Trump did from his.
The youngest voters back Clinton overwhelmingly, with 53 percent of millennials backing her over just one-fourth who support Trump.
“I alone can fix it”, Trump said as he accepted the GOP nomination in Cleveland.
“I don’t think cyber security is a big joking matter”, Kaine told Tapper.
Kaine also talked about his mother in Columbus, saying she told him as the balloons dropped at the Democratic National Convention that it was the happiest moment of her life.
One commentator saw the pattern in the Democrats’ language. Even that wasn’t enough to satisfy Sanders and his supporters. It was a positive speech that celebrated the image of the first black family in the White House and Clinton’s election as comparable accomplishments. We can rate positively that she left some room for the USA ratification of the accord, while paying consideration to left-wingers within the party who oppose the TPP.
Sanders took the stage at the DNC next and endorsed Clinton while urging all his followers to do the same.
Trump also accused Clinton via Twitter of “trying to rig” the fall presidential debates by scheduling two of the three debates on the same night as National Football League games.
Still the issue is likely to linger among some Clinton supporters. Trump has sought to appeal directly to them rather than deriding them for their left-wing beliefs, another break with traditional Republican campaigning orthodoxy. And she needs Bernie Sanders to keep uniting the troops of his political revolution behind her.
Kaine asked the crowd, “Do you want a “you’re fired” President, or a “you’re hired” President?”, referring to the Republican nominee’s often repeated line from his reality TV show “The Apprentice”.
In all likelihood, the next president of the United States will be the least popular candidate ever to be elected as commander in chief. “You need both understanding and action”. “A man you can bait with a tweet is not a man we can trust with nuclear weapons”.
Former president Bill Clinton spoke July 26. It looks like Baron had more stamina than Bill in that battle! “But you know what, I’m starting to agree with you”. She wants to expand restrictions for gun purchases. And just as Trump was unable to change Democrats’ views about him last week, Republicans said their views of Clinton went unchanged or got worse.
Vice President Joe Biden, a former chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, fired up the audience July 27.
In another recent national poll from CNN/ORC, Trump leads Clinton 44 percent to 39 percent. Millions of people watched their prime-time speeches. With New Mexico ranking 50th in child well-being in the annual Annie E. Casey Kids Count Annual Report, we can not risk the possibility of a president who has not even mentioned early childhood education in his many public appearances and speeches.

“It’s fair to say this is not your typical election”. Waving flags and boisterous speeches about making America great again doesn’t change the fact that the Republican nominee has no experience to back up his rhetoric. “We saved the auto industry from a certain demise, and the Democrats did it”, said Clinton, adding that the industry had its best year last year. Both major parties tried and mostly failed to rehabilitate the two most unpopular presidential candidates in my rather lengthy lifetime.
