Trump Embraces Putin’s Praise: “Nobody Has Proven That He’s Killed Anyone”
John McCain lambasted Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump for his effusive praise of Russian president Vladmir Putin. Responding to criticism regarding his apparent admiration for the Russian leader and unsatisfactory answers from last week’s interview, Trump said, “Now, I think it would be despicable if that took place, but I haven’t seen any evidence that he’s killed anybody in terms of reporters”. “You’re just saying, he killed reporters”.

Putin praised Trump during his annual press conference last week, saying that the former reality show star is “outstanding”, “talented”, and the “absolute front-runner” in the presidential race. Asked to condemn the Kremlin’s alleged involvement in the assassination of reporters, Mr. Trump said, “Our country does plenty of killing, also”.
“If Putin respects me, and if Putin wants to call me brilliant”, Trump told ABC News.
The killing that the United States has done was “what we’re doing in the Middle East, we went into Iraq, we shouldn’t have”, Trump argued.
Many comments drew back to Russia’s rocky relations with the USA, with Putin promising to work with any leader that American voters choose. “I have discussed it recently with President Obama, and with our counterparts from Saudi Arabia, from other Arab countries”, Putin said. But she just made this up in thin air.Meet the Press host Chuck Todd pressed Trump on his rhetoric, asking him, If you knew your words were being used, would you change your language? Trump dismissed the question. No, because I think that my words represent toughness and strength.
Where Putin sees corruption as the norm, Trump similarly regards public service as a marketplace in which anyone and everyone can be bought. The two countries are also divided over the issue of political transition in Syria, where Putin has remained unflinching in his support of President Bashar Assad. I’m saying, when you say a man has killed reporters, I’d like you to prove it. And I’m saying it would be a awful thing if it were true.
“We’re not killing journalists”, Trump clarified. “If Russia wants to bomb the hell out of ISIS and join us in that effort, I am absolutely fine with it”, he said. However, on Friday he admitted that Russian Federation did have personnel in eastern Ukraine who were carrying out certain military tasks.

“This would be a great start if you think about it. The money we spend on fighting everybody”, Trump told his Christmas themed rally.
