The DCCC called its intrusion “similar” to the attack on the Democratic National Committee (DNC), which led to Wikileaks publishing tens of thousands of internal emails.
Some officials believe Russian Federation may be responsible for the release of Democratic National Committee emails that show Democratic Party officials favoring Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders in the party’s presidential primary.
He made the remark at a testy news conference at his Doral golf resort in Florida that allowed him to steal some of the limelight from the Philadelphia convention where Mrs Clinton accepted the Democratic presidential nomination for the Nov 8 election.
Democrats said Trump essentially was encouraging a foreign power to commit espionage and meddle in USA elections, showing he lacked the judgment and temperament to serve.
“Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you find the 33,000 emails that are missing [from Clinton’s server]”. “What I do know is that Donald Trump has repeatedly expressed admiration for Vladimir Putin”. Say what you will about Trump, he wasn’t looking to harm the US or benefit Russian Federation.

Who knows who it is?”They have no idea if it’s Russian Federation, if it’s China, if it’s somebody else”, he said in an interview aired Thursday on “Fox and Friends”.
On Thursday, Trump tried to deflect attention from comments former CIA Director and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta called “inconceivable” and “irresponsible.”
Donald Trump has a bad habit of making seemingly offhand remarks that bump up against serious policy statements.
“I think his comments were just reflecting on the state of cyber security and the fact that we are hacked all the time”, Alex Holden with Hold Security, LLC said.
“When you look at Vladimir Putin, you say he’s a great leader for his country, but he’s also a guy…”

When asked about his comments Wednesday regarding Clinton’s email, the businessman-turned-politician said “Putin has much better leadership qualities than Obama”. “That is a guy who is a clear and present danger to the United States of America”.
