Trump Endorses Paul Ryan, John McCain at Wisconsin Rally
Vos warned Trump, who has a rally at 7 p.m.in Green Bay, that Republicans here strongly back House Speaker Paul Ryan.

“I’ve been watching the news lately, and I’ve been noticing that you’ve been kind of softening up on Mr. Trump’s policies and words”, Matthew Stricker, 11, told Pence at a town hall in North Carolina.
Nehlen said Friday that Trump’s decision “is appropriate and is a display of true leadership”.
“Ryan brushed off Trump’s stance saying that the only endorsement he cares about is from voters in his congressional district”, Ryan said.
Ryan reiterated his support for Trump hours before the endorsement, but the Wisconsin Republican noted his support wasn’t a “blank check” and pledged to speak out against the businessman’s divisive positions if necessary.
But the Republican Party has mostly itself to blame for Trump’s rise, at least according to Max Boot, a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, and a former foreign policy adviser to several Republican presidential campaigns.
The pair are campaigning together on Friday in Iowa and Wisconsin.
House Speaker Paul Ryan cited a scheduling conflict, while Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker said he’d attend an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner instead of appearing with his party’s standard bearer.
Donald Trump’s running mate Mike Pence briefly returned home from the campaign trail to kick off what he calls “the best state fair in America”.
“He’s a good man, and a good guy”, Trump said. I think Donald Trump knows what it takes to go in and win this election…
He has skipped from one misstep to the next, sparking a fresh wave of Republican defections among long-time party loyalists who refuse to support their presidential nominee – with some even going so far as to publicly support Mrs Clinton.
Clinton added that what she has accomplished has been done based on her belief in public service.
“She’s a rising star and will continue to represent the great people of New Hampshire so very well for a long long time”, Trump said Friday.
Donald Trump is making a rare admission he was wrong – in claiming he saw a video of a US cash payment going to Iran. Republican leaders and military veterans have called on Trump to apologize for criticizing the Khan family, who appeared at last week’s Democratic National Convention.
Trump tweeted Friday that “The plane I saw on television was the hostage plane in Geneva, Switzerland, not the plane carrying $400 million in cash going to Iran!”
In the interview, Vos said Trump needs to apologize for his comments about Ryan.
The New York billionaire has cited a $400 million payment the US made to Iran this year, delivered on the same day that Iran released four American hostages.

And the “apologist” role Pence is playing is one of the main reasons so many top Republicans passed on the Trump ticket.
