Trump ends standoff with Ryan

Donald Trump, looking to put behind him a week of party infighting and show that Republicans are united, endorsed Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and Senators John McCain and Kelly Ayotte in their reelection bids.

“We will have disagreements”, Trump said just days after refusing to endorse the Wisconsin Republican.

A pallet loaded with what Iranian state television claims is cash sent by the US, the narrator says, to pay back Iran’s money after 35 years is aired in Iran days after American hostages were released.

Trump announced he is endorsing House Speaker Paul Ryan after initially declining to do so.

Fox News and CNN said Mr. Trump would endorse Mr. Ryan, the top US elected Republican, in his re-election bid at a rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin, which is Mr. Ryan’s home State. “We need that. Arm in arm, we will rescue the nation from the Obama-Clinton disaster that has bled our country dry and has spread terrorism unabated across the world”.

Trump’s failure to back two Republican Party leaders while his own poll numbers tanked reportedly left the chair of Republican National Committee Chair Reince Priebus “apoplectic” and Trump’s own aides “suicidal”.

Mr. Trump’s endorsement of the Speaker should ease some of the tension generated by his refusal earlier this week to endorse Mr. Ryan when he told The Washington Post he was “not quite there yet” – using the same phrase Mr. Ryan had used about Mr. Trump before finally endorsing him.

In addition to praising Ryan, Trump also threw his support behind Arizona Sen.

Trump also endorsed New Hampshire Sen.

Trump and McCain have not seen eye-to-eye dating back to past year, when Trump criticized McCain, saying he was not a war hero because he was captured by the Vietnamese.

Trump, Ann Coulter, Sarah Palin and others have gone after Trump and Coulter and Palin have actively campaigned for both Nehlen and Trump. He reiterated his support for Trump hours before the endorsement, but he noted that his support wasn’t a “blank check” and pledged to speak out against the businessman’s divisive positions if necessary. Wisconsin Assembly Speaker Robin Vos offered a blunt message ahead of the presidential nominees arrival: “We are Ryan Republicans here in Wisconsin, not Trump Republicans.”. “This is truly one of the most important elections in my lifetime”.

“If Hillary Clinton becomes president”, he said at a rally in Iowa, “you will have really, in my opinion, the destruction of this country from within”.

“In one way, she’s a monster”, he said in Wisconsin.

Ryan “appreciates the gesture and is going to continue to focus on earning the endorsement of the voters in southern Wisconsin”, the spokesperson said.
