Trump has a new answering machine message

After Trump made his disparaging remarks about Mexicans being criminals and rapists, some thought his campaign would be short-lived.

Donald Trump’s communications team has had its hands full since even before the mogul announced his Republican presidential candidacy June 16.

Presidential candidate Donald Trump on Sunday offered another bit of refreshing honesty: an explanation of why he fights “like hell” to pay as little tax to the federal government as possible. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, on the other hand, is behind Trump by 16 points, the report details. Fourteen percent said that “Trump had the guts to say exactly what was on his mind about an important problem we need to deal with”. Graham also had a creative response to his personal number being released. And the only reason I say that is because I think people concur with that.

“Trump is the boss I have to constantly follow around and fix all the stuff that he broke with his mouth”, one man told the group, assembled by Republican spinmeister Frank Luntz and aired during a segment on “Hannity”. I explain who I am, that I would like to talk to him about the upcoming debate and the media coverage surrounding his campaign, including Gawker’s decision to publish his cell number.

The author of “Why no one should take Donald Trump seriously, in one very simple chart” has an explanation – he didn’t see a particular Trump surge coming.

“With your help and support, together, we can make America truly great again”, he said.

“Hope to see you on the campaign trail”. That happened in late July at a South Carolina campaign rally (video here), and as you might imagine, Graham’s phone blew up immediately.

While Trump’s no-holds-barred approach may be refreshing to some voters who are exhausted of politicians parsing and obfuscating, his ideas are unworkably delusional at best, xenophobic at worst.

“Now, a lot of these people are helping us“, Trump said.

It appears that he’s got an aide picking up for him at least some of the time, so if you hear an unfamiliar voice just be sure to ask for Mr. Trump.
