Trump has questioned Clinton’s ‘stamina’

The Democratic presidential candidate cancelled a fundraising trip to California scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, as well as the taping of an appearance on the “Ellen” show, hosted by actress Ellen DeGeneres.

Obama asked. “One candidate, who’s traveled to more countries than any secretary of state ever has, has more qualifications than pretty much anyone who’s ever run for this job; and the other, who isn’t fit in any way, shape or form to represent this country overseas and be its commander in chief”.

“I can’t imagine you folks not being a little inquisitive about what he’s done to cheat people in Atlantic City and everywhere”, Reid said.

Obama will seek to generate momentum for Clinton in a race that has become uncomfortably close for many Democratic supporters.

Obama said he was floored by analysis he’s read about working people supporting Trump. He accused Trump of being unprepared, unserious and “not a facts guy”. He seized on Trump’s praise of Russian President Vladimir Putin, whom Obama cast as authoritarian strongman who controls the media and crushes dissent. This isn’t even the vision of freedom that Ronald Reagan talked about.

The president didn’t unleash on Trump alone. Her staff had planned to bring their children in to meet Elmo and Clinton didn’t want to disappoint the kids.

“You don’t grade the presidency on a curve”, he said. “This is serious business”, Obama said, his voice rising.

Clinton defended her campaign’s handling of the medical episode, saying it “met a high standard of transparency” about her health.

Trump is to be introduced at the event by his daughter, Ivanka, who has championed the issue of childcare as an influential voice in his campaign.

“Shouldn’t you be at work?” it read.

After roughly 90 minutes of silence from her campaign, aides said Clinton left because she was overheated.
