Despite barely winning Massachusetts’ Democratic presidential primary over rival Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton holds a double-digit lead over Republican nominee Donald Trump in the state, according to a new survey.

As most Americans celebrated Labor Day this past weekend, the presidential candidates spent the time rallying support in the battleground state of OH where Hillary Clinton’s lead has dropped to about 2 percentage points, according to the latest polls.
These immigration voters split between prioritizing border security (43 percent call that the top priority) and a plan to allow those working in the USA illegally to stay (39 percent see that as the top priority).
Democrat Hillary Clinton still leads in most national polls and in most of the key battleground states where both campaigns will focus over these final two months.
The NBC/Survey Monkey poll was conducted August 29-Sept. Mrs. Clinton is campaigning there on Thursday, and both Mr. Trump and Sen. It appears the polls are showing a trend that is now favoring Trump.
The George Washington University poll finds 42% of likely voters supporting Clinton and 40% backing Trump, within the survey’s margin of error.
Clinton now enjoys 48 percent support while Trump maintains 42 percent – the same margin as last week. The poll has a credibility interval of 3 percentage points. Other national polls are expected to release their results later this week.
US Vice President Joe Biden, meanwhile, campaigned along with Kaine on Monday morning in Pittsburgh, with Pennsylvania being another crucial state in the presidential contest.
Meanwhile, Mrs Clinton and Mr Trump sprinted out of the campaign blocks on Monday to begin their two-month dash to the U.S. presidential election, descending on OH as ground zero of their 2016 battle. “Republicans are excited about the prospect of electing them to the White House”. Trump has the support of 87 percent of South Carolina Republicans and Clinton has 94 percent of state Democrats’ support.
In another surprise to many, the Dallas Morning News editorial board announced Tuesday it wasn’t endorsing Trump.
They both need to reach a 15 percent average in select national polls in order to share the stage with Clinton and Trump at the first presidential debate September 26.

However, another poll out Tuesday, showed Clinton remaining in the lead over Trump by a comfortable margin. Trump had a 17-point lead over Clinton among male voters and a 7-point lead among female voters.
