Trump Having ‘Best Week’ yet, Campaign Manager Says

Donald Trump and his presidential campaign wavered Sunday on whether he would continue to call for the mass deportation of illegal immigrants from the United States.

Trump is expected to speak about immigration policy Thursday at a campaign event in Colorado.

“I’m sure they want to point to this and say, ‘See, we’re trying to better understand what Americans are thinking, ‘ ” said Evan Siegfried, a Republican strategist who’s backing Hillary Clinton.

“He’s wrestling with how to do that”. People that are here unlawfully, came into the country against our laws, are subject to being removed.

Trump’s running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, has said that he plans to release his tax returns, with a spokesman telling CNN that this would happen before the election. “He’s thinking that through”.

Mr Trump has also been rebuked by opponents for his proposal to impose a temporary “total and complete shutdown” of Muslims seeking to enter the country, later rolled back to focus on countries with “a proven history of terrorism”.

In April, Conway appeared on CNN and defended a short-lived alliance between Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Senator Ted Cruz to stop Trump, a strategy that she considered “fair game”.

Campaign manager Kellyanne Conway says Donald Trump’s team is still discussing whether to agree to the debate schedule announced by the independent Commission on Presidential Debates.

Conway, who had been a senior adviser, was promoted to campaign manager and Stephen Bannon, head of the Breitbart News website, was hired as campaign chief executive. She said the campaign would not release his 2008 returns that have already exited an audit, either, repeating the message of Trump’s former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort.

Trump has had a tense relationship with the RNC throughout the primary and into the campaign season, at times railing on the GOP establishment and accusing the party of working against him.

His returns would show voters for the first time how much he pays in taxes, how much he gives to charity, and provide a guide to his assets and investments.
