Trump health summary: high testosterone and a good golf swing

Donald Trump on Thursday released a letter from his doctor summarizing his latest physical examination as the health of the two major-party presidential nominees has taken center stage in the campaign.

His campaign then released a one-page letter from his longtime physician that said a number of test results were normal.

Those are the highlights of Donald Trump’s medical condition chronicled in a summary released by the campaign Thursday, information that stopped well short of a comprehensive review of the candidate’s medical history. The show airs Thursday.

“Well, I really have no problem in doing it”, Trump said, according to a clip released by the show on Wednesday afternoon, reported Washington Post.

Wednesday’s taping of the “Dr. Oz Show” wasn’t supposed to be when Donald Trump showed the world the results of his recent physical exam.

In 2003, speaking to radio host Howard Stern, Trump said his daughter had “the best body”; in 2006 on The View he said “if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her”. Dr. Lisa Bardack, chair of internal medicine at CareMount Medical in Mount Kisco, New York, said Clinton was treated with a 10-day course of Levaquin, an antibiotic used to treat infections.

The candidate discussed his weight and general health with Dr. Mehmet Oz after a morning of mixed messages about what would be on the table during the taped interview. Overall, however, according to audience members, Oz sounded impressed by Trump’s health at 70.

Trump also said he can save nearly $1 trillion over the next decade by saving one penny from every dollar of federal spending on programs, excluding defense and entitlement programs. The report from the hospital contained some specifics on blood pressure, height, weight and cholesterol numbers.

Clinton was recently diagnosed with pneumonia and also has been the subject of conspiracy theories about her health. “She is recovering well with antibiotics and rest …she continues to remain healthy and fit to serve as president of the U.S.”, it said.

Trump’s last colonoscopy was done in July 2013, which Bornstein said was “normal and revealed no polyps”.

She said: “Even I had to admit maybe some rest would do me good”. Trump is 70, while Clinton is 68.

He said a lot of the rooms he’s in on the campaign trail “are like saunas” and said, “I guess that’s a form of exercise”.
