Trump Hits Carson Over Stabbing Story, Talks About Hosting ‘SNL’
Speaking on CBS’ “Face the Nation,” Carson, who is polling toward the top of the crowded GOP presidential field, said his campaign is receiving “special scrutiny” at a time when he has momentum three months before voters begin casting ballots.

The candidate has been under the microscope over the past few days as more questions arise regarding the factual accuracy of the stories he has published in his books or in interviews he has granted.
The “Wall Street Journal” also questioned Carson’s claim that he protected white students at his high school during the 1968 riots in Detroit.
Journalists have been unable to substantiate several of Carson’s claims, such as that he attempted to stab someone when he was 14 and that he was offered a full scholarship to West Point. Carson implied in his book Gifted Hands that he he was formally offered a scholarship, but he clarified on Friday that “It was, you know, an informal ‘with a record like yours we could easily get you a scholarship to West Point, ‘” during a meeting with General William Westmoreland.
“Every single day, every other day or every week, you know, they’re going to come out with, “Well, you said this when you were 13″,’ Carson said on the CBS program ‘Face the Nation” Sunday. Chris Christie presumably “has shown favoritism toward well-connected real estate developers.”, while Rand Paul’s “views at times veer outside the conservative mainstream”. “The Carson story is either a total fabrication or, if true, even worse!” he said of the claims that Carson had been a violent teenager.
“With Ben Carson wanting to hit his mother on head with a hammer, stab a friend and Pyramids built for grain storage – don’t people get it?”
Donald Trump Tells NBC: “He’s going to have to explain a lot of things away”. Carson’s campaign said on Friday that his grades and conversations with ROTC officials constituted a de facto acceptance to the academy, which provides full scholarships to all of its students. Oh, well, you said this when you were in kindergarten.’ Give me a break.
“Carson’s soothing, soft-spoken demeanor coupled with his status as an outsider draw the support of grass-roots Republicans, regardless of his policy stances many consider to be extreme”, he said. I was very flattered by that. Carson asked. “And why do people put this stuff out there to make the accusation to try to make somebody seem dishonest, and then when it is disproven, ‘Oh, well, let’s talk about this”.
Despite the questions over Carson’s campaign-ready autobiography, none of the reports seems to have hurt the Republican front-runner.
“And look, I listened to the interviews with Dr. Carson”.
Dr. Ben Carson Sunday turned aside attacks on his veracity, saying he challenges anyone to be accurate about events 40 or 50 years in the past.
“It’s been proven that it wasn’t a lie and none of the things are lies”, Carson said. “They have space for small rooms, where the pharaohs had their coffins and where the pharaohs were buried, essentially”, Trump told host John Dickerson. “I am always going to call in that out when I see it”. So, you know, that’s what happened.
“I just don’t know”.

The clipping is nearly like the Carson story, in which 150 students walked out of a “Perceptions 301” class after the professor announced that everyone had to retake their psychology test due to the tests being burnt and the new exam was even tougher.
