Trump holds 10-point lead in Michigan GOP primary
For the Republican establishment, the search was increasingly dire.

“Renée Loth: “…it was MA, a state predisposed to love the Democratic Socialist from neighboring Vermont, where Sanders hit the wall”. Rubio has so far won just one state.
Overshadowed by Trump’s wins, Ted Cruz came in a close second in the night’s delegate haul, thanks to a win in his home state of Texas.
Mrs Clinton also won primaries in seven states: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Massachussetts, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
Among the other winner-take-all primaries: Arizona on March 22, Nebraska on May 10 and New Jersey on June 7.
In the days leading up to Super Tuesday, Marco Rubio positioned his candidacy as the Republican establishment alternative to Trump.
Of the speaker of the US House of Representatives, he said: “Paul Ryan, I don’t know him well, but I’m sure I’m going to get along great with him”. Young voters may prove critical to Trump and Clinton as they try to square away their respective nominations.
According to the poll, Clinton tops Trump 52 percent to 44 percent among registered voters but trails Rubio 47 percent to 50 percent, as well as Cruz by 48 percent to his 49 percent.
“As long as the field remains divided, Donald Trump’s path to the nomination remains more likely”, Cruz said.
With Rubio’s sights set on Florida’s March 15 election, the wins all but ensure that both candidates will continue to fight for the anti-Trump mantle for the foreseeable future. Most other states he carried with two-thirds of young voters.
Mr Graham has, in the past, criticised both Mr Trump and Mr Cruz for their campaign promises.
While Republican Presidential frontrunner Donald Trump scored big wins on Super Tuesday, capturing conservative states such as Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Tennessee and Virginia, rivals Sens.
Trump won at least 203 delegates Tuesday. Cruz collected at least 144 delegates and Rubio picked up at least 71.
Trump now has 316 delegates to his name as compared to Ted Cruz at 226 and Marco Rubio at 106.
While Sanders’ caucus win was definitive, the results are nonbinding-meaning that Sanders isn’t guaranteed to take all of the state’s 66 delegates.
Sanders assured supporters he’d take his fight to “every one” of the remaining contests.
Clinton’s early coronation seems more probable at this point, given a commanding lead over Bernie Sanders and the number of superdelegates in the Democrats’ primary calculations.
More than 130,000 Alaska residents were registered as Republicans last week, and the state GOP leaders said they were printing more ballots this year because of an expected large turnout. Sanders had at least 373. America is strong when we’re all strong. For Rubio, it is an unconvincing win, Minnesota is a relatively small state and its caucus system (similar to Iowa) makes it make it unreflective of the general voting base. Historically, Super Tuesday has marked the “beginning of the end’ of the primary races, and in the past three decades the candidates who have staked out the major victories in Super Tuesday has been the ones to receive the nomination”.
He said she should be disqualified from even running for office because she broke from government protocol by using a private email server while she was secretary of state.

“What a Super Tuesday”, Clinton declared at her victory rally in Florida, taking aim at Trump by asserting that America was already great, despite his campaign mantra, and vowing to make the country “whole again”.
