Trump immigration policy to be ‘fair and humane’ – campaign chief
Donald Trump, the Republican candidate for the upcoming U.S. presidential elections will give a long-awaited speech on illegal immigration on Wednesday (Aug 31), after postponing it several times.

Host Jake Tapper told Pence that “the one issue that you didn’t really address is whether or not the 11 or 12 million undocumented immigrants will be removed by a deportation force, as you heard Mr. Trump say in that clip from November of previous year. In this task, we will always err on the side of protecting the American people – we will use immigration law to prevent crimes, and will not wait until some innocent American has been harmed or killed before taking action”.
“On Day One, I am going to begin swiftly removing criminal illegal immigrants from this country”, he said. “I know he enjoys a very strong relationship with his ex-wife and their two wonderful kids”.
Trump was set to deliver a major speech on illegal immigration last week, but his campaign made a decision to postpone the address as it continues to craft its policy and the language to deliver it. The announcement follows questions regarding Trump’s apparent softening on immigration in the last week. He’s been consistent on a few points, however: building a US-Mexico border wall, “extreme vetting” of new immigrants and deportations of those who commit crimes.
Conway has signaled that Trump might soften his proposal to “round up” the approximate 11 million immigrants in the USA illegally with a “deportation force”. “Big crowds, looking for a larger venue”, Mr. Trump tweeted Sunday.
Trump, speaking on the Iowa State Fairgrounds, sought to clarify his views on how to overhaul the US immigration system after saying earlier in the week that he was softening on his plan to deport all 11 million illegal immigrants.
Among his supporters, “There’s nothing Trump can do that won’t be forgiven”, the right-wing provocateur Ann Coulter said, “except change his immigration policies”.
Republican Vice Presidential nominee Mike Pence said that Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will not allow undocumented immigrants to become American citizens.
Also appearing on “Meet the Press” was David Plouffe, President Barack Obama’s former campaign manager, who called Trump mentally unhinged.
He still says he’ll build a wall.
Following her book’s release, Trump told Fox News’ Sean Hannity in an interview that he was considering “softening” his position on some of those immigration positions.
Native-born children of immigrants, even those living illegally in the USA, have been automatically considered American citizens since the adoption of the 14th Amendment in 1868.
In comparison, Pence said, Hillary Clinton supports amnesty, open borders, increase refugees from terrorist torn countries by 550%. “But I promise you, he is going to remain completely focused on American citizens and people who are here legally, and how we get this country working for people who play by the rules”. He says that philosophy represents where most Americans stands.
Recent polls indicate Clinton is ahead in some of the most competitive and pivotal states.

Pressed on the question, Priebus replied: “I just don’t speak for Donald Trump”.
