Trump, in law and order speech, calls for African-American support
“Those peddling the narrative of cops as a racist force in our society – a narrative supported with a nod by my opponent – share directly in the responsibility for the unrest in Milwaukee and many other places within our country”, Trump said.

Trump went on a Twitter rant against the press, complaining that the “disgusting” media is not showing the crowd size of his rallies and is putting “false meaning into the words I say”.
In a risky move, Trump travelled Tuesday to Milwaukee, the site of ongoing protests over the fatal shooting of a black man by a black police officer. “The Democratic Party has failed and betrayed the African-American community”.
Trump, who is lagging behind in the polls, accused Clinton of being on the side of the rioters – and argued that Democratic policies have made life for African-Americans and in inner cities worse. Speaking in Cleveland on Wednesday, Clinton said Trump’s plans would benefit people in his own income bracket, declaring that he “would pay a lower rate than middle-class families”. “Now he’s accusing her of bigoted remarks – We think the American people will know which candidate is guilty of the charge”, she said.
In the Fox News Latino poll released Monday, 78 percent of Latino voters believe that the Republican nominee is not honest or trustworthy, as opposed to Clinton, whom 51 percent of Latino voters believe is not honest or trustworthy.
In a separate Reuters/Ipsos poll that gave respondents the option to choose from Clinton, Trump, Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson and Green Party candidate Jill Stein, Clinton also led Trump by 6 percentage points. “The Hillary Clinton agenda hurts poor people by far the most”.
Meanwhile, 75 percent of Clinton supporters and 88 percent of Trump supporters say they are “very concerned about the safety of police officers doing their jobs in the current political environment”.
Democrats, he claimed, have pushed policies that exacerbate poverty and crime.
“Who can have a problem with that?” he asked.
Earlier Tuesday, Trump met with Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke and Inspector Edward Bailey after a tour of the county’s war memorial.
Don’t let your friends vote for Trump, she urged, adding, “There is no new Donald Trump”.
