Trump in trouble in Texas: Poll shows six point lead over Clinton
Trump, who is lagging behind in the polls, accused Clinton of being on the side of the rioters, declaring: “Our opponent Hillary would rather protect the offender than the victim”. Over the course of seven days, the full sample size for the poll, Clinton added 1.3 percentage points to her total, while Trump remained almost flat, adding 0.4 percent.

Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by 9 points – 50 percent to 41 percent – in the latest NBC News|SurveyMonkey Weekly Election Tracking Poll.
Among Hispanic, black and Asian voters – a collective bloc that comprises a third of Florida’s electorate – the poll found Clinton with a massive lead over Trump, 69% to 19%.
Trump and Democrat Bernie Sanders both claimed this year that the system is “rigged” against them.
In a four-way matchup including Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson and the Green Party’s leader Jill Stein, Clinton leads Trump by 6 percent, while Johnson is supported by 11 percent of respondents and Stein by 4 percent.
David Wasserman, an analyst of House elections for the Cook Political Report, sees that as a sign that Republican voters have separated their judgment of the party’s nominee from its candidates for the House.
Trump said in a speech Monday that the country’s national security requirements demanded “extreme” vetting of immigrants seeking admission to the United States, pointing to the threat of the Islamic State group and terrorist elements.
And Minnesota voters lead the nation in voter turnout: typically 75 percent turnout and above.
“To all my passionate friends who are Trump supporters”, he continued.
Although Clinton is leading in Virginia, she’s still struggling with her likability.
Clinton’s support has ranged from 41 percent to 44 percent since late July, and was about 41 percent in the August 11-15 online poll.
Conversely, Clinton is backed by 93% of Virginia Democrats, and gets the support of 86% of those who backed her primary rival Bernie Sanders.

“I’m hoping that if someone like me comes out and has the opportunity to have discussions with them – present reasonable arguments – I’ll be able to convince some Latinos that Hillary makes a lot more sense”, he said.
