Trump, interrupted, heckled in visit to Flint church
It was unclear what she said after leaving the stage.

Donald Trump was in Flint, Michigan, today.
“Trump’s presence at Bethel United Methodist in no way represents an endorsement of his candidacy”, Timmons wrote.
Trump, in turn, politely abided and wrapped up his comments by saying the damage that has been done in Flint can be corrected “by people who know what they’re doing. Hillary Clinton has spent her entire life working for children and families and is the only candidate who is looking out for the best interests of Flint”, said Senator Ananich.
This included an off-road tangent about how “Hillary failed on the economy”. While there, he started talking about typical Trumpian topics, including the outsourcing of American jobs and what he sees as the failed policies of Bill Clinton’s presidency. “Everything she touched didn’t work out”, he continued. Nothing. Now, Hillary Clinton…
At this moment, Timmons approached the podium where he was speaking to ask him to stop politicizing his appearance at the church.
Think what you will of Donald Trump, but his visit to a Flint church became a surreal scene when the pastor cut off a presidential candidate mid-speech to lecture him about no “political speech”.
The visit to Flint, where most residents are African-American, comes as Trump has increased his outreach to minorities, arguing that Democratic policies have left inner cities impoverished and unsafe.
“More needs to be done to ensure everyone has access to safe water-as well as the trust and confidence that their water is safe, a guarantee that most every other community in America has assumed for decades”. The visit did not go as smoothly as Trump wished.
The “Shut Up-enning” (THAT’S WHAT WE’RE ALL CALLING THIS!) happened during Donny’s remarks while addressing a crowd at an African-American church in Flint, Michigan.
In brief remarks to reporters, Trump thanked the plant’s staff, but did not immediately address the water crisis.
One heckler accused the nominee of referring to black people as “lazy”.
The Flint water crisis began in April 2014 after a state-appointed emergency manager diverted the city’s water supply to draw from the Detroit Water and Sewerage System to the Flint River.
“No, I never-never would never would”, he said before Timmons called on her congregants to show him respect.
“Flint is focused on fixing the problems caused by lead contamination of our drinking water, not photo ops”, Weaver said in a statement Tuesday evening.

Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm spoke on the final day of the Democratic National Convention, declaring “we are all Flint”. “I believe he’s brought a lot of negative energy to our country, said a lot of negative things”.
