Trump is a ‘master brander’, says Bill Clinton
Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton continue to lead their primary races in three key swing states but voters give them low marks for honesty and trustworthiness, which could spell trouble for each of them in the general election, according to a new poll released Wednesday by Quinnipiac University. Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson followed with 16 percent.

The new poll is based on a telephone survey, conducted from September 17 to October. 4, of 1,002 registered voters in California, including 214 likely to cast ballots in next Junes Republican primary.
Carson fared better than Rubio and Bush in Florida but he still lagged behind Trump with a very wide margin.
“When we get past the playoffs to the World Series, the general election face-off, Biden does better against leading Republicans than does Clinton or Sanders”, Brown said. Marco Rubio comes in third.
Today’s survey, furnished by Connecticut’s Quinnipiac University, is a “swing-state” poll, which looks at the political landscape in the battleground states of Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
Clinton also narrowly tops Trump in Ohio, with 43 percent to 42 percent, and in Pennsylvania, with 44 percent Clinton to 42 percent, the polls showed.
Clinton is at 40 percent in Ohio, 21 percent for Biden and 19 percent for Vermont Sen. Biden is closing in with 25 percent, with Sanders at 19 percent and 10 percent undecided.
A new poll from IBD/TIPP is the first to show Donald Trump slipping from first place. “I have no idea who will be the GOP nominee”, Moyer said.
The choice for GOP voters seems to be between the unapologetic Trump and the somewhat more humble Carson.
Twenty-nine percent of Florida Republicans also say that there’s no way they’d vote for Trump, by far the highest of any candidate.
She supported the trade deal as Secretary of State – now she’s against it. “I am not in favor of what I have learned about it”, said Clinton.
Brown added that while Clinton enjoys greater leads over other Democratic contenders, she is losing support. But Bush, Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and Sen.
In Ohio and Pennsylvania, Clinton’s lead is a little tighter over Biden, with Sanders falling to third.

Clinton has lost a few support since the last poll in August, but still leads in Pennsylvania at 36%. 5 and had a margin of error of +/- 2.9 percent. Rubio stands at 7% here, Bush at 4%. “Vote for me, ‘” Clinton said.
