Trump is back on top
When Reuters asked which candidate was best-suited to deal with terrorism, a sizable 36 percent of Republican voters chose Mr. Trump in a poll released Tuesday, days after the Paris attacks.

The poll numbers are also encouraging for Trump in a potential general-election contest.
Rubio has the best score for honesty, with 58 percent of respondents saying he is honest and trustworthy, to 28 percent who believe he is not.
A quick look at polls shows that Republican voters seem to welcome Trumps bombastic tone after last weeks assault on French civilians that left 129 people dead.
Meanwhile, Cruz has been courting evangelical Christian voters, a powerful group in the Republican primaries that has hitherto largely gravitated toward Carson.
The recent terror attacks in Paris, in which at least 129 people have been killed, have brought US foreign policy into sharp focus and sparked a controversy over how refugees fleeing Syria should be treated.
The percentage of GOP voters in the state who view him favorably dropped from 63% in early October to 55% now, giving Rubio a slight edge as the most likable candidate among likely New Hampshire primary voters. After using an expletive to describe what he would do to ISIS, after throwing out more interruptive comments during the last Republican debate and after a trail of campaign comments that would have sunken any other candidate’s ship, Trump remains #1!
At the top of the GOP heap in Wisconsin is surgeon Ben Carson (22%), according to the new Marquette Law School Poll.
“What’s interesting in this poll is that we’ve seen movement among Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio”. Bernie Sanders is polling at 45 percent while Clinton is right behind him at 44 percent. The margin of error for the sample of 379 Republican voters is plus or minus 5 percentage points. For example, Carson is Trump’s closest competitor nationally, yet he doesn’t break double digits here.
The poll also revealed that former Democratic senator Russ Feingold maintains a lead over incumbent Ron Johnson, the Republican who defeated him in 2010.
Take a break, Donald Trump. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., has slotted the bill for possible Senate consideration, though it’s unclear whether the chamber could get enough votes to override a veto by President Barack Obama, who opposes the measure. Given the makeup of the presidential fields, it’s probably not too surprising that 61% of Republicans said being an outsider was more important while 77% of Democrats went with experience.
“When we talk about angry voters I think there is empirical evidence to say, yes, there are quite a few angry voters and they exist in both parties”, poll director Charles Franklin said.

“It is no wonder than that they think the best days are behind us, because for them, they are”.
