Trump jabs Cruz by playing ‘Born in the USA’ at rallies
Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz ramped up his attacks against GOP rival Donald Trump on Tuesday, accusing the billionaire businessman of having “New York values” and questioning his foreign policy credentials.

“You can not put someone there, folks, that’s going to go in and he’s going to be immediately sued by the Democrats because they’re saying he was born in Canada, he’s not allowed to run for president”, Trump said of Cruz, who renounced his Canadian citizenship in 2014. Under the Constitution, in order to be president, you must be a natural born citizen.
Trump stopped short Sunday of predicting victory in the Iowa caucuses, though he said if he wins in the state, he would “run the table” elsewhere in the Republican nominating contest.
Since then, Trump lost Iowa to Cruz in the polls and Cruz has surged to No. 2 nationally.
“I’ve never been naturalized”, said Cruz, the US senator from Texas who is among the front-runners for the party’s nomination.
Not all of the Republican crossfire involved Trump and Cruz.
Cruz also said he did not believe those convicted of domestic abuse should be allowed to buy a firearm, and added that the White House’s reluctance to use the phrase “radical Islamic terrorism” – a decision Cruz ties to political correctness – has directly caused a loss of life.
Trump on Sunday called on people at a downtown gathering in Reno, Nevada to register for the planned November 8 vote, saying, “You know what’s going to happen if you don’t vote, our country’s going to go to hell because that’s what’s happening”. “I don’t get it”, Trump said in the first of several references to Cruz in rambling remarks that spanned an hour. Trump has opened up a more than two-to-one lead over the next closest contender, and takes 30 percent support in the poll. H.W. Bush. Sununu has been highly critical of Trump’s rise, accusing the candidate of lacking substance. But nobody knows what it means. Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul agreed with Trump on “Face the Nation” on CBS that the Democrats are sure to challenge Cruz if his wins the nomination.
“All of a sudden he was getting clobbered, and all of a sudden he said, ‘Ah, oh, I’m for ethanol.’ You can’t do that”. “Three weeks ago, nearly every Republican candidate was attacking Donald Trump”.
Earlier this week, BuzzFeed captured Cruz on video arguing that his plan was stronger than Trump’s because he would not allow those back into the USA, while Trump’s would.
“It’s factually inaccurate that the oil company’s lobbyists are supporting me”, Cruz told reporters Saturday night in Waverly.
Cruz was born in Canada, but his mother was born in Delaware. Also, McConnell mentioned that the Senator Canadian’s birth and the fact that his father was born in Cuba aren’t actual issues that should make him ineligible.
Mr. Trump has led the GOP field for months but is in a horse race with Sen.

Ziller, who is undecided and leaning toward Trump but likes Cruz, also said he was aware of Trump’s recent attacks on Cruz’s stance on ethanol subsidies.
