Trump just made another joke about Clinton getting assassinated
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump speaks during a rally at the James L. Knight Center on September 16, 2016 in Miami, Florida.

Black congressional leaders, along with Clinton’s campaign, pilloried Trump’s brief statement on Obama’s birthplace – which was not an apology, an explanation or even an admission that he was the loudest promoter of the birther movement. He then immediately peddled another false conspiracy.
The Clinton Campaign slammed Mr. Trump for such a remark, saying the real estate tycoon has a pattern of inciting people to violence.
Both candidates have been protected by the Secret Service for months, but Trump’s latest take on Clinton’s security detail brought swift denunciations, particularly from Clinton allies.
Mr. Trump also alleged that Clinton’s campaign relies on the exhausted tactic of smearing opponents who question her policies as racists.
Trump’s meaning was not immediately clear and a campaign spokeswoman did not immediately respond to a request for an elaboration. Has the AP ever written such an absurdly partisan paragraph about a presidential candidate? “He can’t just take it back”.
There is no evidence to link Mrs Clinton to the birther conspiracy. However, that did not affect his ability to beat more than a dozen challengers in the GOP primaries and has yet to dissuade his loyal supporters.
Members of the Congressional Black Caucus held a news conference on Friday to urge African-American voters to resist any temptation to support Trump. “We’re going to be here”.
The New York businessman led the birther movement aimed at Obama, who was born in Hawaii to an American mother and a Kenyan father.
Trump devoted more time at the beginning of the event to talking about his hotel where the event took place. But Trump did not explain how or when he’d come to that conclusion.
“We’ve got so many other things to do”, Obama said adding he’s “pretty confident about where I was born, I think most people were, as well”.
Clinton seized on Trump’s refusal during a speech Thursday night.
“This man wants to be our next president?”
Five years on, Trump is finally ready to look into it.
“I finished it”, Mr Trump said.
Hours earlier, Trump stated for the first time that the president was born in the United States, though he did not apologize for devoting years to promoting false allegations that Obama was not an American citizen. Yet the facts do not match Miller’s description of the issue.
Whatever game Trump was playing with the issue in the past few days, it backfired.
However, Mr Trump had tweeted in 2012 that an “extremely creditable source” had told his office the certificate was a fraud.
As reporters in the back of the room stood, yelled and shouted questions at Trump, the crowd invited to the event began yelling “U-S-A!”
The charges also served to launch Trump’s political career, propelling him onto the national stage and winning him fans on the far right. “We’re talking about something else, OK?”
“What they did was tease us, play us”, said CNN’s Dana Bash, saying the networks would not have aired the veterans’ statements otherwise. “You know what I mean. Someday I’ll write a book”.

Following the Washington event, Trump’s campaign invited the television networks’ pool camera to join him on a tour of his Washington hotel. This Associated Press article by reporters Jill Colvin and Jonathan Lemire reads like a DNC press release.
