Trump laments lack of GOP unity — but keeps up criticism
2016 presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump is not taking criticism from the GOP’s 2012 presidential nominee lightly, hammering back at Mitt Romney over his “trickle down ” comments on Friday.

The speeches, delivered Saturday at Romney’s annual business and politics summit at a five-star ski resort, were enough to cause whiplash.
Trump also revived “Crooked Hillary”, his favorite moniker for Clinton, calling her a “maniac”.
The nominee-in-waiting is under attack from a variety of Republican lawmakers, particularly over his claim that a federal judge’s “Mexican heritage” makes him biased in a fraud case involving the now-defunct Trump University. I said ‘Jeb, you’re not gonna be here much longer, you’re pretty far down there Jeb-ah.
“Presidents have an impact on the nature of our nation, and trickle-down racism, trickle-down bigotry, trickle-down misogyny, all these things are extraordinarily unsafe to the heart and character of America”.
Some of the names of sports figures the candidate said he has the support from are Brady, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, Nascar chief executive Brian France and Dana White, the president of Ultimate Fighting Championship.
House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan was grilled at Romney’s gathering by fellow Republicans about his endorsement of Trump following some of the businessman’s recent controversial remarks.
During the rally, Trump said that be “nice” to have a Republican majority in the Senate, he will not be campaigning for down-ballot GOPers, according to Politico.
“They say Sessions”, Trump then said, as the crowd continued to roar.
Such concerns have recently sparked fresh interest in the prospect of a dark-horse candidate taking the nomination away during the Republican National Convention next month.
“The Republican party has to be tough and smart”, he said.
“It’s like a bunch of babies”, Trump said, “a bunch of dumb babies”.
Clinton later addressed the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, the nonpartisan arm of the women’s health group, and had Trump trained in her sights.
“I said, ‘Yes, I’ll apologize – to Pocahontas.’ I’ll apologize cause Pocahontas is insulted by this, I think”, he said.
“I don’t want to hear about it”, Trump joked in Tampa, though he added that “I feel like I’m 35”.

But the US Republican presidential candidate did call for ethnic harmony when he took the unusual step of reading a carefully scripted speech off a teleprompter. That’s the good news.
