Trump lashes out at Clinton’s personal record, policies

“Let’s make sure that Wall Street, corporations and the super rich pay their fair share of taxes”, Clinton said in Raleigh, North Carolina, the state capital. “Her decisions spread death, destruction and terrorism everywhere she touched”.

‘It doesn’t appear I’m going to be the nominee, ‘ Sanders said in a sit-down with the cable channel, in an interview that was released online today. “In fact, he doubled down on being the king of debt, so all he can do is try to distract us”.

Both presumptive presidential nominees are attempting to unite their fractured parties ahead of the nominating conventions.

Bernie Sanders has admitted that it does not look likely he will become the Democratic Party’s nominee to be the next U.S. president. They can save their party by not aiding its nominee.

“I’ve given a few speeches in my life”, he said.

And Donald Trump should steer away from any thoughts of Sarah Palin as a running mate.

“We are going to take our campaign to the convention with the full understanding that we’re very good in arithmetic and that we know who has received the most votes up until now”, he told reporters.

She will be talking about a vision for a stronger nation along with a commitment to build an economy that works for everyone regardless of income level.

Trump also tried to turn Clinton’s strengths into negatives.

Noting his famous catch-phrase from NBC’s “The Apprentice” – “You’re fired!”

Sanders is slated to give a speech Thursday in NY to address “where we go from here”, which aides said will not include a concession but will address the kinds of policies Sanders will push the party to enact.

Sanders explained that that meant opening up the primaries, reminding the C-SPAN journalist that he had been badly beaten in his home state of NY, where Clinton served as a senator, because independents couldn’t cast votes.

She’s also pledged to close corporate tax loopholes.

Earlier, Clinton received a rousing reception from House Democrats in her first stop on Capitol Hill since clinching the Democratic nomination.

“If for whatever reason they don’t want me to speak, then whatever”.

But Sanders has held back his endorsement of Clinton as he has sought to push her to the left on issues that were centerpieces of his campaign, including income inequality, campaign-finance reform, education and healthcare.

Other potential Democratic and Republican picks are less well known.
