Trump links death of National Basketball Association star’s cousin to black vote

26, and Derren Sorrells, 22, also were charged with attempted murder in Friday’s shooting. The Police Service of Scotland said it arrested both pilots Saturday at Glasgow Airport and both men, ages 45 and 35, would be arraigned. They are being held without bond.

Aldridge, Wade’s first cousin, was hit by gunfire Friday afternoon as she pushed her 3-week-old girl on a stroller in Chicago’s south side, police said.

Alridge, 32, was caught in the crossfire of nearby gunshots.

Nykea Aldridge, a cousin of National Basketball Association star Dwyane Wade, died less than an hour after sustaining a pair of gunshot wounds, the result of two paroled brothers with gang ties opening fire in the street. Here, an undated photo from her Facebook page.

Nykea Aldridge’s mother, Diann Aldridge, talked about the confusion and anguish felt by the children she leaves behind.

The family has also established a trust fund to aid the four children that Aldridge was forced to leave behind.

Darwin Sorells Jr. admitted in a statement that he was armed and approached the apparent target of the shooting with a gun.

“The endless gun violence in places like Chicago, Dallas, not to mention Orlando, it has to stop; enough”, Wade said.

Following Aldridge’s death, Wade and his family called for an end to the violence, which has plagued the city for years.

There is video of the incident, Dennihan said, but no weapon was recovered and police don’t know where the weapon is.

Chicago authorities have said more than half of the guns used in crimes come from out of state, including about 20 percent from Indiana.

“Clearly, they don’t think we’re serious”, he said. Too soon she was taken away from us. “It’s noteworthy because these two offenders are the prime example of the challenge we face here in Chicago with repeat gun offenders that don’t care who they shoot”, said Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson.

Wade is now not in town but recently joined an ESPN round-table talking about the violence plaguing the city of Chicago. Though the fact remains that yet another inner-city child will now have to grow up without a parent because of senseless gun violence.

Wade was understandably gutted by the violence that took a family member’s life.

“We send our deepest condolences to the entire Wade family during this hard time”, the team’s statement said.

What one thing has to do with the other remains unclear, of course (even Trump’s campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, didn’t bother to defend her boss when asked about the tweet on Fox News Sunday, only saying that she was “pleased” his next tweet “expressed his condolences to the Wade family about the death of his cousin”).
