The billionaire front-runner’s rivals have repeatedly targeted his past statements on abortion, including a 1999 remark when he identified as “pro-choice” despite his distaste for the “concept of abortion”.
Planned Parenthood’s Louisville location is being scolded by one group in the African American community, some saying Planned Parenthood targets black women. “And I wouldn’t fund it”, Trump boldly declared on the debate stage.
The billionaire businessman added that he would “defund it because of the abortion factor”.
Cruz made it clear that he believes the filmmakers were within their rights to create the undercover videos, and expressed strong disapproval of the indictment, calling out Planned Parenthood as the real problem.
Twelve states that undertook investigations of Planned Parenthood found no wrongdoing.

KORNACKI: You know, we focus so much on immigration with Donald Trump, but when you look at health care, Planned Parenthood, he could be more moderate, maybe more electable, than any Republican I’ve seen. It seems Trump is unaware of the Hyde Amendment.
But here’s the thing about Trump’s pro-life pledge: The federal Hyde Amendment already prohibits the use of federal funding for abortions, except for those performed in cases of rape, incest, and where the life of the mother is at risk. It is named for the late Rep. Henry Hyde (R-IL).
