Trump may dump the next Republican debate
I predict now the status quo of Trump on top and Ben Carson, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz taking turns popping up, but still a long ways from striking distance, will last until the actual voting begins in Iowa and New Hampshire in early February.

Cruz frequently maintains that he will not throw mud at his rivals, but he has been locked in a pitched battle with Sen. Jeb Bush, punching above his weight, won the cage match against Trump; that helps Bush’s struggling campaign, although probably not enough.
During the rally, Trump also went after Rand Paul, saying the Kentucky senator doesn’t have same “spark” as his father, Ron, who ran for the presidency in 2008 and 2012.
“Christie was really strong last night”, said Mackowiak. Baier asked, referencing the Tuesday CNN debate in which Cruz refused to repeat that argument against Trump. For another, Cruz himself isn’t exactly the model open-minded candidate who would be easily accepted by global watchers.
“When it comes to Sen. I have always opposed amnesty, citizenship or legalization”, Cruz said.
When asked by a debate moderator Tuesday whether he is ready to commit to not running as an independent if he does not win the Republican nomination, Trump replied: “I’ll be honest”.
Maybe it was because it was held in Las Vegas, where so many great prizefights have been held.
Rubio’s view was more in line with both the Bush and Obama administrations’ calls for backing the spread of democracy in the Middle East. He argued that Assad’s iron grip on power in Syria has allowed the Islamic State to thrive and said he “will not shed a tear” if he is pushed from power.
It was only during the fifth balloting when Cruz “the Fighter” gained the evangelicals’ 75 percent vote, beating Rubio the “Communicator”, the news outlet said. “And now of course in this campaign he’s looking for a political advantage”. Trump leads Cruz in all of them and Rubio, meanwhile, is polling third.
Rubio was hesitant to criticize Trump, telling us he’s shown seriousness of goal when it comes to the issue of National Security and being Commander-in-Chief.
“That’s easy to say”, Rubio said Wednesday morning.
“Here’s what we learned in 2013: The American people don’t trust the federal government to enforce our immigration laws, and we will not be able to do anything on immigration until we first prove to the American people that illegal immigration is under control”, he said, in a carefully crafted explanation of his evolution. He said the NSA previously only had access to up to 30 percent of phone numbers under the U.S. Patriot Act. The new program covers almost 100%.
That Cruz and Rubio are both Cuban-American first-term senators in their mid-40s may be an accident of history, but it matters to a Republican Party anxious to showcase diversity. The latest Des Moines Register poll has him up 10 points over Trump.
Rubio added: “Because I can promise you, the next time there is an attack on this country, the first thing people are going to want to know is, why didn’t we know about it and why didn’t we stop it?”

Trump has made a number of statements in recent months that have brought him jeers from media, the Republican establishment and Democrats but cheers from fans who feel Washington is not listening to them.
