Damac Properties declined to comment.

Trump is also set to manage the Trump World Golf Club, a forthcoming Tiger Woods layout at another Damac development, dubbed Akoya Oxygen, in Dubai.
Gold lettering bearing Trump’s name and a billboard that showed him with daughter Ivanka have been restored at the $6billion development in the Muslim-majority United Arab Emirates.
But it now appears to have had a change of heart, with billboards bearing Trump’s image removed and his name taken down from a wall.
“We would like to stress that our agreement is with the Trump Organisation as one of the premium golf course operators in the world”, the developer said in a statement.
Also, the Damac webpage dedicated to the Trump PRVT gated community, which is part of the development, appeared to have been removed, leading only to a “not found” page.
“The exterior signage at Trump International Golf Club, Dubai was temporarily removed on Tuesday for a short period of time, however as of last night, the signage is back up and fully intact”, the Trump Organization said in a statement to The Associated Press on Friday.
The proposal, offered in the days after the San Bernardino, Calif., terrorist attack which left 14 dead and 21 injured, was labeled as fascist by fellow presidential candidates of both parties.
Dubai’s Al Tayer group, which bills itself as the Middle East’s biggest luxury retailer, opened two showrooms in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in June to sell “Trump Home by Dorya” furniture made by a firm that licenses Trump’s name.
Trump proposed banning Muslims from entering the US following a mass shooting in California that officials say was an act of terrorism by a radicalized Muslim couple.
Earlier this year, his daughter and company’s executive vice president of development and acquisitions Ivanka Trump, told a Middle Eastern hotel trade publication that they’re eyeing the area for more business opportunities.
As well as facing backlash in the Middle East, the property-mogul-turned-politician was also stripped of his honorary degree from Scotland’s Robert Gordon University, and his role as global business ambassador was revoked by First Minister Nicola Sturgeon. “It was a shocking comment”, he said referring to Trump’s call for a total ban on Muslims from travelling to the US.
The Trump campaign did not respond to multiple requests for comment.
