Trump Names Mike Pence As Vice Presidential Running Mate
Her Republican opponent, Donald Trump, calls her “crooked” at virtually every campaign appearance.

Donald Trump’s political union with Mike Pence, who was announced Friday as his running mate, arrived with a new campaign logo that is drawing laughs from cheeky tweeters. Had Trump declared that the announcement would go full speed ahead, his critics would have denounced him as heartless, and possibly of exploiting the tragedy for his own ends.
Trump did not say when he planned to announce his running mate. In the months since, he has mocked Bernie Sanders for his small personal finance statement.
As of now there’s no word on when any announcement would be rescheduled to, although Trump’s son Donald Jr. apparently hinted during an interview that it would likely be Saturday.
For example, during his governorship, IN experienced a devastating HIV outbreak, which was made worse by the closure of a Planned Parenthood clinic that was the only HIV testing center IN one county. Pence also has been critical of Trump’s proposed temporary ban on foreign Muslims entering the United States, calling the idea “offensive and unconstitutional”.
Personal financial maneuvers almost ended Pence’s political career before it even began.
Pence and his wife, Karen, a schoolteacher, have been married since 1985 and have three grown children: Michael, a Marine Corps officer, Charlotte, and Audrey.
“It’s no secret I’m a big fan of Mike Pence’s”, said Ryan. A CBS News poll out this week found 86% of registered voters are either undecided about whether to view Mr. Pence positively or negatively, or don’t know enough to form an opinion.
“I’m going to campaign hard for the Republican nominee because IN needs a partner IN the White House”, Pence said during his endorsement speech.
Pence’s campaign didn’t dispute paying the personal expenses but argued they were allowed under federal law. By about 5:00 pm ET, sources said Trump had not personally made the offer to Gov. Pence to join the ticket.
Other Republicans with knowledge of the process said there had been no calls to Christie, either. Subsequent actions in the 1990s further specified what constituted an illegal personal expense. That includes working for former Governor Mitch Daniels. But the businessman put those questions to rest Friday when he tweeted that he was “pleased” to announce Pence as his No. 2.
“Donors expect their campaign contributions to be used for election purposes”.
Lee Ann Elliott, a former Republican commissioner and commission chair, voted against sanctioning Pence, citing past commission decisions that gave campaigns “wide discretion” to spend their money. No specific or credible threat to either gathering has been reported, he said.
Because Indiana releases little information about officeholders’ personal finances, Pence’s current fortunes will remain unclear until he files a new personal disclosure with the Federal Election Commission. This is in line with Trump’s political agenda to cut corporate taxes if he is elected.
This led to all sorts of ridicule on Twitter, in part because Trump has ridiculed other politicians for emotionalism in the past.
Still, some conservatives say Pence lost his luster when he left the House to govern red-state Indiana.
The 22-member Indiana Republican state committee will have 30 days to select a new nominee for governor against Democratic candidate John Gregg.

During his decade-plus in the U.S. House of Representatives, Pence voted for strict anti-abortion measures while state legislators back home were busy turning in into the seventh-“most protective” state in the country, as ranked by the anti-abortion group Americans United for Life.
