Nehlen on Wednesday told CNN he hasn’t had any contact with Trump’s campaign outside of the tweet, which was shared in response to a letter he sent to Trump.
But on Monday, Nehlen got a Twitter shout out from Donald Trump, which could certainly boost his numbers.
Trump has had a running dispute with Khizr and Ghazala Khan since they took the stage at last week’s Democratic convention to cite their son’s sacrifice and criticise Trump’s proposed ban on Muslims entering the US.
