The details were provided during a taping Wednesday.

The quick run-through of results, which Trump is said to have given to the doctor to read from a piece of paper, came after the Republican presidential nominee’s aides had said he would, and then that he wouldn’t, broach the topic with the celebrity doctor on the Dr. Oz Show.

A cardiothoracic surgeon by training, Dr. Oz has a large female viewership, one reason the Trump campaign chose him as an outlet.

On Tuesday, the Trump campaign said the real estate mogul would not be releasing any medical records during the interview.

The biggest takeaway? Trump, according to Trump’s doctor – Dr. Harold N. Bornstein – is the epitome of health.

Trump, a former reality TV star, is at home in a setting like “The Dr. Oz Show“.

Famous thanks to Oprah Winfrey, who knighted him “America’s Doctor”, Oz, who has worked at some of New York’s top hospitals, has a large and devoted fan base.

“Well, I bet you he won’t release them”, Oz said.

So the appearance on Dr. Ozs show, announced on Friday, had been anticipated as a potential breakthrough, as Mr. Trumps aides had said that over the next few days he would release results from the physical examination, which was conducted last week. “So I’m not going to ask him questions he doesn’t want to have answered, and I also don’t want to talk about anybody else”.

According to the show, Trump’s latest physical was performed by Bornstein as well. “But I do not believe we can have a wealthy country without being a healthy country”.

Trump would like to lose some weight.

Clinton and her allies say that the little health information Trump’s released so far, along with his decision not to release his tax returns – a break from modern presidential- campaign precedent – should trouble voters.

Trump has repeatedly called out Clinton’s “stamina” in recent months, alluding to long-held questions in conservative media circles about Clinton’s health. “I don’t know what’s going on”.

He was booked on the show more than a week ago, which means the plans pre-date Hillary Clinton’s recent health scare. But Trump told CNBC he takes no “satisfaction” in his opponent’s illness. “I hope she gets well soon”.

Earlier on Wednesday, Mr. Trumps campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, told Fox News that she did not think the candidate should release medical information on a television show.
