Trump, official deny Secret Service spoke to campaign over Clinton remarks
“If she gets to pick her judges”, Trump said, “nothing you can do, folks”.

Trump’s intended message was not immediately clear, but lawmakers, former national security officials and other critics expressed concern that Trump had advocated, possibly in jest, that Clinton or her Supreme Court nominees could be shot. The Second Amendment guarantees the right to bear arms.
Clinton, in an economic speech Thursday outside Detroit, will hit Trump for not releasing his taxes and suggest that the returns cover up how much the businessman’s tax proposal would actually help people like him, an aide said Wednesday. But he’s also on defense over these words from yesterday about Hillary Clinton and gun rights.
“No such meeting or conversation ever happened”, Trump wrote on Twitter, accusing CNN of having made up the report.
Donald Trump offered a fatalistic assessment of his personal and political future on Thursday, saying he will not abandon the controversial style that fueled his ascent despite lagging poll numbers and a string of damaging controversies.
Trump may have been joking (though, as Speaker Ryan pointed out, this isn’t a joking matter).
With third party candidates taken into account, Trump would lead Clinton 37 percent to 36 percent in Iowa.
Trump made three stops in the state in April, just before the Republican primary.
And he should think before he speaks.
“Reuters just announced that Secret Service never spoke to me or my campaign”, Trump tweeted.
“When countries break the rules we won’t hesitate to impose targeted tariffs”, Clinton said.
It was a very irresponsible thing to say. In no particular order, the Democratic nominee called for: massive new infrastructure investment, expanding Obamacare, making college more affordable, increasing access to broadband internet, and closing tax loopholes used by corporations and the wealthy, to name a few.
Was Trump suggesting gun owners take matters into their own hands if Clinton wins the White House?
Instead, pundits spent hour after hour mulling whether Trump meant to incite violence against his political opponent.
“Donald Trump stands for everything we in CT stand against”, the state Democratic Party wrote. The campaign told the Secret Service that any violent implications were unintentional, according to the network. She turned out to be an animal rights activist.
The Secret Service, tasked with protecting the president and presidential nominees, was taking Mr Trump’s remarks seriously and has spoken with Mr Trump’s campaign about them, CNN reported.

This time, Cramer noted, was “a little more tense”.
