Trump prepared to cede Wyoming delegate contest
Additionally, his fear is that Trump, the NY billionaire and recent convert to the GOP, could so disrupt the turnout this year that GOP seats in Congress and the U.S. Senate might be in jeopardy as a result of voter apathy. Of the 12 already picked, nine are pledged to Cruz, one to Trump, one to Florida Sen. Cruz, a USA senator from Texas, has a deeper ground game nationally than Trump, especially in states like Wyoming that don’t hold primaries.

As he took the stage at the Grand Hyatt New York hotel in midtown Manhattan, Trump leaned in. And despite his outsider status (the largest percentage of Trump’s voters say they want a candidate who shakes up politics), he is also seen by the largest percentage of Republican voters as likely to accomplish his goals.
“Well, first of all, we need to put an end to President Obama’s amnesty”, Cruz answered, matter-of-factly. Now he’s linking his two NY rivals. “We are calling all around the state”, he said. “I’m not going to pander to New Yorkers”.
According to CBS News, Trump has accrued 755 delegates as 1,237 is needed to secure the nomination. “I think the people of Colorado did vote, but they were so high, they completely forgot”.
Overall, it felt like Trump’s night. He says, “Politico says that you have warmed up to Trump, that you’re thinking now of moving closer to Trump”.
“I felt insulted” by his interview, she said. Don’t you think it’s time to, you know, stop and unite the party? “I believe the country has a lot of problems”.
A leading local eligibility requirement was being part of the Charleston GOP precinct meetings from more than a year ago, which was months before Trump formally got in the race, Steinberger noted. Cruz follows with 545, and Ohio Gov. John Kasich is in last place with 143 delegates. “I sense it works against Trump because he has not been involved”.
Rob Astorino, the Republican Westchester County executive and a 2014 gubernatorial candidate, said he’s not planning to endorse anyone, but will support the nominee.
Trump was on the stump in Syracuse, New York, where Reuters reported he criticized the Wyoming process and that of Colorado, which earlier gave all of its 34 delegates to Cruz.
“Whoever the candidate is has to close the deal”, Astorino said. All 17 that started had the same rules to play with.
The Democratic candidate has to get to 2,383 delegates nationwide.

“Trump is now an imperfect messenger carrying a vital message”.
