Lindsey Graham urging fellow Republicans to unendorse Donald Trump, it’s no surprise that Hillary Clinton is trying to take advantage of any and all discontent Republicans have with their presumptive nominee.
Donald Trump announced that he will be giving a major speech next week detailing the Clinton history of scandal and corruption. Most recently the other Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders said he saw it as a conflict of interest in an interview with CNN on Sunday. He also noted that he would return home to Vermont after Tuesday and “assess where we are”. It was to be the beginning of a new chapter moving into the general election.

“Maybe a little bit above average, but not too high”, is how Rebecca Spencer, the registrar of voters for Riverside County, characterized turnout.
Trump vowed to press on with his characteristic fighting spirit, but – in a nod to the concerns of Republicans anxious Trump may never change morph into a more presidential figure – he also promised to be uniting.
White voters made up 68 percent of registered voters in 2004, but they now make up only 58 percent of registered voters, according to data from the Pew Research Center, which would give Clinton an opportunity to turn the state’s 16 electoral votes blue for the first time since 1992. “He is much more on my page”.

The voting Tuesday offers a preview of a likely showdown in the Sacramento area between two-term Democrat Ami Bera, who supported “fast-track” authority for Obama to negotiate the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade agreement, and Republican Scott Jones, a Sacramento County sheriff who enjoyed Teamsters backing until his support for Trump prompted the union to rescind its endorsement.
