Trump promises special relationship with Russia
Here’s what he actually said: “If Russia or China or any other country has those emails, I’ve got to be honest with you I’d love to see them”.

Trumps invitation to Russian Federation to find and reveal emails by his rival for the White House came on the third day of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.
The emails showed party officials favored Clinton’s presidential nomination and tried to undermine the candidacy of her rival, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.
So when Trump addressed the rumors of Russian Federation being responsible for leaking incriminating Democratic National Committee emails by saying, “I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing”, regarding Hillary Clinton’s deleted messages, everyone lost their minds. Now look, you have to understand, Putin – if we could get along with Russian Federation, I think that would be a good thing, not a bad thing.
The GOP nominee’s comments sparked an immediate uproar at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, as well as claims by Clinton’s campaign that Trump was endangering national security and even conspiring with a USA foe, charges echoed on social media.
Trump also commented Wednesday about the DNC’s more than 19,000 leaked emails that were published by WikiLeaks Friday.
But Democrats aren’t buying Trump’s revision of comments he made Wednesday, and his initial statement is nearly certain to be thrust back into the spotlight when Clinton accepts the Democratic presidential nomination on Thursday night.
Ryan countered on Tuesday that North Atlantic Treaty Organisation is an “indispensable ally” and said the agreement is “as important now as I would say it’s been in my lifetime”. We doubt it will say otherwise until such time as everyone has forgotten the whole incident, which was far more relevant for the content it revealed rather than which hacker orchestrated it.
Some Republicans have stepped forward to defend Trump.
Charging Trump for his comments about Russian Federation would “turn campaign fluff into a crime” and would be laughable, said Daniel Richman, a Columbia University law professor and former U.S. prosecutor.
Look, Trump says a lot of incendiary things.
The uproar over Donald Trump’s latest comments is a classic case of media-generated outrage.
Jake Sullivan, Mrs Clinton’s senior policy adviser, reacted angrily to Mr Trump’s remarks.
“That’s not hyperbole. Those are just the facts”. He deliberately made a comment that goes against the national security of the country just to get ahead in the polls.
She handed over thousands of emails in 2015 to United States officials probing that system, but did not release about 30,000 deleted emails she said were personal and not work-related.
The FBI recommended not to bring criminal charges against Clinton earlier this month. I spoke indirectly and directly with President Putin, who could not have been nicer.

According to Carlton Larson, a professor at the University of California at Davis School of Law and one of the nation’s few experts on the law of treason, what Trump said “does not amount to treason”. “That is a guy who is a clear and present danger to the United States of America”.
